It is a very nice place at Bucharest. Elegant, nice staff. You can find traditional Romanian cuisine as well. Separate places to have a dinner makes it possible to have private discussions. Food and drinks were perfect.

This place is just incredible! The food is delicious, the staff is so polite and good. I’m 1000% sure that I will comeback here when I will be in Bucharest again. Google gives me only 5 star rating but my rating of this restaurant is 10 stars even 5 is maximum:) thank you!!! See you next time

The location is very pretty, and it gives authentic vibes of Romanian culture. The food was delicious. We had some vegetarian soup with mushrooms and some appetizers (răcitură and zacuscă). It has been here for the first time trying răcitură and despite the scary looking, it turned out to be delicious. Give a shot if looking for a cosy and traditional location.

Haven't had such delicious food in a long time, simply amazing. The portion was big for whoever is feeling pekish, looked good too as you can see from the photos. Pricing wise, well worth it for the area, quality and service. Staff was super friendly and helpful. There were some really nice dishes which I can't wait to go and try next time.

Great food selection and service. We were seated on the back terrace, which we appreciated because it was quiet and we manage to talk to each other in privacy. The interior looked great as well, the restaurant is situated in a fancy old villa. I recommend asking for "șpriț", a good combination of wine and sparking water - you can get all the details from the waiter.

Excellent!! We were looking for an authentic Romanian food and we found it. The restaurant is lovely and decorated very well. The staff were kind and helpful. They explained what was traditional and offered their recommendations but they weren't pushy. It was excellent! The veal stew with polenta was amazing. Deep flavored and tender, tasty meat. The roasted potatoes with cheese were delicious but the mechi (I'm spelling this phonetically.) Was the star! We enjoyed dinner with a Romanian beer which was perfect with the roasted meat. Dessert was very nice. Go! You'll love it!

Authentic Romanian food...amazing environment and service...

Came to Zexe on the first of Jan to enjoy some traditional dishes with some interbelic touches. I ordered as my main course the special type of "sarmale" which amazed me completely.
Service wise, the lady helping us with the order was super nice and attended all our needs with care and always with a smile :)

This restaurant is 15min drive from Bucharest old town. You will find local cuisine. I loved food and service. There is also a option and nice area for smokers. I tried local delicacies like cow cheeks and few other and loved it. Octopus was my favourite.

Very good restaurant nice design and atmosphere. The menu so good and full of romanian dishes. I really enjoyed the whole experience.

Recommended by our concierge at the Marmorosch. The food was stellar, definitely, a 9 out of 10, loved the service and the atmosphere was amazing. They had a violinist who just made my night. Will come back again if possible.

Great Romanian food and experience. Good food, live music and great atmosphere. Service is perfect. Very friendly and good service staff. We had the lamb, all the sausages, the pork filet, the meatballs and all deserts. Loved all of them. Well cooked, delicuous and well priced. Will definitely come again.

Top restaurant in Bucharest located in a nice area. The location is an old romanian style house that was restaured by the owners. You should check out the desrts plate at the end, they are quite special

Careful about matching the wine recommendations with the price list. But I suppose that is true for any restaurant.

Great diner with colleagues and enjoyed local food. nice mixed starters and a variation of meat as main course. Of course we started with a palinka, a traditional fruit brandy

Great food. Good service. This is a place where you go to find out new things about what you enjoy. The prices are above average but you do have the option of trying out many things in smaller quantity.
