A lovely restaurant, offering all kinds of delicious Romanian fish dishes. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, prices are really good, service is very friendly and the food is fresh and delicious, with portions on the larger side. We will definitely return!

Finding a fish specific restaurant in the middle of the city is a feat, but not impossible.
Ivan Pescar delivers fish only dishes, allegedly prepared fresh and very good to be honest.
Excellent food (thought I'm on a shore cherhana for a moment), good service and good wine; reservations are recommended and the bill is above average, but well worth it.

The kind of place that tells a story through every interaction it offers the customer: the food, the ambiance, the little details, the stories written on the little cards and on the screens, they all tell a story about the art of fishing and the fisherman's way of life. Such a delight and a breath of fresh air!

This place never ceases to amaze me! Everything here is great,especially the food.
I love the black sea rapane and the pike fish. The grilled sturgeon is also something quite special.
They also have a wide variety of romanian wines.

Great fish meals, a variety of them to chose from. Everything on the menu is fish, drinks and some dessert, don't expect to find any other kind of meat here.

we happened to arrive at that place and hearing about this restaurant we said to try their food. we chose platter for two people with pike eggs, marinated anchovies and some wonderful things called batog and silver carp pastrama. the food was very nourishing. we couldn't finish and the rest put us in the package. very friendly staff. excellent food. we arrived quite late in the room and although there were only 30 minutes and they closed the kitchen they prepared what we ordered and the place was almost full. the restaurant is minimalist, enough to make you feel good.

Nice fish restaurant. We tried the fish soup, rapane and some fried fish. All was really good and the portions fillining. They have also a nice terrace in the back opened until 22.00

Probably the best fish in the city. Friendly staff and a small and cozy restaurant. You should definitely try Picanca de Stiuca or Salau with garlic and wine white sauce, traditional recepies from the Danube Delta.

We've been served by a thin, not very tall waiter (didn't get his name) - very nice, absolutely perfect service. Food was great, clean fish dishes, exactly what we expected. We'll return soon!

Good place to eat, fair prices. Main specialties are fish but also some other non-fish recipes. Decor is very nice with some traditional elements, and in the main lobby was an art exhibition.

It is not easy to find a restaurant that specializes in Danube delta cuisine, they have it down. What a wonderful crew!

Attentive staff and excellent quality fish dishes & wine. I had a great Sunday lunch including fish soup and grilled catfish.

One of Bucharest's few fish-only places, with a hint of amazing sports heritage and a great atmosphere straight out of the Danube delta! Focused around legendary canoe racer Ivan Patzaichin's origins and accolades, this is a welcoming place situated in a pretty unique building. Now The Ark, it used to be Bucharest's Goods Stock Exchange, and a staple of a once-amazing-now-crumbled neighbourhood.

Seating service can be a little slow depending on the time of day, but overall service was very attentive and pretty quick. The food was amazing (get the fish zacuscă as a starter, you won't regret it), especially the carp with sauerkraut. There's a nice white wine selection that pairs well with anything you could order. Prices are also quite alright, especially when considering the assortment of options you get.

The atmosphere is very cozy, surrounded by wooden elements that connect to Patzaichin's storied past and Mile 23 origins, everything given a very tasteful modern twist.

Very enjoyable overall, especially if you're looking for a fish place specifically.
