Erra Restaurant

Alessandru is a special chef with a great attitude towards preparing food with traditional Romanian ingredients. Gave us detailed explanations on the specialties for the evening, we ordered beef & pork dishes and were happy with all of the dishes served. Helpful staff works alongside him, too. Many thanks to everyone !!
PS. The wine from the photo was not the best selection for my personal taste, but I guess that is subjective.

The food is delicious and the serving is impeccable! The chef presented us the dishes that weren't in the menu. We decided to follow his recommendations and I can tell you it was probably the best burger that I ever ate. The place is a bit hidden from the main street, but I can assure you won't regret going here.

I usually don't leave reviews, but his place surprised me with excellent food, extraordinary service. And to top it all they have seasonal dishes that are even better than what is in the menus. ASK for the "secret" menus, you won't regret it.

Intimate experience with a very attentive and qualified staff. The restaurant has dishes which change often and are not on the menu. The food was well prepared and very tasty! It's a little piece of heaven in the urban chaos of Bucharest.

The bathroom could do with a renovation but it was very clean and not an annoyance.

Spent around 50 eur for main course, wine and desert for two people. 5/5 recommend

The place is unexpectedly fantastic. We entered it with hesitation but were surprised and pleased with the food and service. The burger was the best I have ever eaten in Bucharest, the wine was amazing, and the dessert melted in the mouth.

Excellent service and food. Alex the chef makes a point of being very interactive with his customers and is passionate about his menu. Speaks excellent English and well traveled. Has a regular foreign client base. Should definitely take the time to visit.

We have been visiting all of the best restaurants in town and this one is one of the best. The chef, Alexandru, was very nice and spoke with us for a while. The restaurant is clean, cozy and trendy. Everything that we ate was delicious. We don't normally visit a restaurant twice (while on vacation), but if we were to come back to Bucharest then we would definitely come back to Erra.

This is our place to visit every time we visit Bucharest. Very good food, super nice personnel, boutique-like restaurant with intimate/family atmosphere, where you can actually have a conversation without raising your voice because of the loud music.
