George Enescu Memorial Museum

Unfortunately it was closes when we arrived. But we could see from outside how beautiful old building it is

The museum is devoted to the greatest romanian composer, George Enescu. You can glimpse into his past and get to see where he lived and performed for a part of his life. Entrance is quite cheap and it's well worth to make a stop.

Self guided tour, but the employees also offer some information along the way. It's definitely worth visiting

Beautiful memorial house of the greatest Romanian conductor and violonist, George Enescu. The house is full of stories and the museum hosts also classical music concerts.

The museum is worth a visit if you are in Sinaia. I believe is undervalued for its beauty. Was built in Neo-Romanian style.

[visited several times after 2007, most recently in 2019] Called Vila Luminiș, the house is very beautiful, both inside and out, classy in an unpretentious way - a much more modest building than the Cantacuzino Palace in close-by Bușteni, to which this house is connected via Enescu’s wife. Small musical events happen periodically on the ground floor (at least they used in pre-pandemic times).

A beautiful memorial house typical for Eastern European Countries. At the entrance of the house there is a marble bust of George Enescu. The villa it is truly beautiful: inside and outside. Lovely architecture. You breathe culture ... a culture that is never enough. On the contrary ... it feeds you and makes you a better person in every way. Congratulations!

The house in witch the great musician George Enescu lived. A museum a little bit different than the others. IF YOU ARE IN BISTENI ...YOU MUST VISIT THIS MUSEUM . You will not regret it.

Very nice place. Loved it. If you want to know where and how did George Enescu spent most of his time in Romania, this is the place.

They offer audio guides in several languages. The house is preserved well and there'd a lot of interesting info to be learned.

Must be seen in Sinaia! Somehow secluded, but a great walk to get there, also with some restaurants spread on the way.
