Our notes:
We stayed for 2 nights, and overall we all really enjoyed our stay.

At first we booked what was described as a 2-3 bedroom apartment and an extra double room.

Although the apartment was really nice for a small family, it was too small for us. So, after the first night we had to change to 4 separate double bedrooms.

Wonderful experience! Alexandru our waiter in the restaurant, super friendly and professional.

One of the best places we stayed in Romania. The service really stood out, and they really went out of their way to make you feel welcome. It was so nice I'm thinking of going back to see what it is like in the winter for the ski season!

Their Forest Restaurant, is quite something. Excellent food and you really can imagine it being been put together by tree elves! Food was excellent, as was the service, and the menu extensive and interesting.

Our stay at Ioana Hotels was just perfect. The rooms were very cozy and clean, well equipped, the restaurant was special - with delicious food, very polite & kind personnel. It was a pleasure to meet Chef Antonio Passarelli and listen to the live music there. All in all, a true 5 star experience!

A great surprise to find this little gem nested in the mountains... The decor is exceptional the restaurant ambiance places you right in the forest with a fine dining experience topped only by the portion sizes... The prices are on the higher side but we didn't mind as the service and the experience made it worth... Highly recommended for food, friendliness and experience. Hope to return some other time...

We felt like home. Food was amazing, friendly staff and lovely outside seating. Alex M. was always paying attention to what we need and his suggestion of red was awesome. Prices above average, but a great experience overall. We will be returning.

An excellent choice, high quality hotel, stylish, clean, warm and cosy. Ideal accommodation concept, very comfortable bed and professional services. If you are in the area it is totally worth it.
The staff is exceptionally kind, always smiling and ready to help with all your needs.
The restaurant serves good and varied food, the spa is clean and very nice.

Ioana Hotels is for us one of the most relaxing and family oriented hotels we have been to.
From the moment you step in you feel like a friend. We have been now for the 5th time here in the last year. Starting with the staff at the reception, the most friendliest barman Rasty that we ever met. He does not only ofer you the tastiest cocktails and freshest tea‘s, but also makes you feel welcomed, relaxed and cared for.
Then the rooms that are awaiting you with fresh fruits and aromatherapy lamps that are turned on and relax you at the moment you open your room door… the apartments that enchant you either with a whirlpool, sauna, or fireplace, depending on what you enjoy the most…
Last but not least we were incredibly surprised, each and every time, by the Forest Restaurant that is part of the hotel. The chef‘s Antonio Passarelli and his son Michael Passarelli are simply kitchen God‘s and we can say that while we stayed there, we did not feel the need to have neither lunch or dinner anywhere else but in this restaurant. Each time we enjoyed our meals we were surprised with new tastes, new spices, new flavors that made us feel the need to just close our eyes and enjoy each bite.
I have to add to this review one waiter though. I think the waiter in a restaurant makes 50% of how much you enjoy your time there and want to come back.
We have met Sergiu the third time we had the pleasure to be guests at Forest. He is very attentive, very friendly and feels exactly his guests needs.
But most important for us as wine lovers, was the fact that he knew how to decant our wine and let it breathe. Unfortunately not many waiters in our restaurants are aware of specific rules to enjoy red wine, to let it show you the whole wine potential and character.
I want to add, we know none of the people that own these two businesses, nor the employees, but we feel all of them need a review for their passion and implication to make customers happy. But also I wrote this long review for all of you to know where in Romania you really feel AT HOME… and above! Thank you once again for our beautiful stay!
This time in St Moritz apartment …

This is pretty much our favorite hotel in Romania. Gorgeous location, finest decor, brilliant service and generally a feeling that you just want to stay here again and again. We stayed here four times and will be back again!

Lovely place. The room was very nicely fitted and the bed really really comfy. Wonderful backyard for drinks and dinning. Food was nice but maybe a bit pricey for what you get. Service was great.

Believe it or not, everything regarding this hotel is outstanding!! The employees are so warm-hearted, they'll do anything to make you feel like heaven! The hotel is placed in a quiet area, the view you have every morning charges your battery and the food leaves you speachless. Thank you very much for everything and until next time!

Prices are on the high side, but the menu has a wide variety of products that should cover almost every budget. It goes without saying that food and service are among the best in town.

Great service, views, amenities. Location turned out to be farther than we wanted to most things though.

One of the best Prahova Valley hotels. Rooms are better (and larger) when compared with other hotels.

Staff makes you feel wellcomed. Because of their dedication, you get the feeling they are all part of the same family.

Good food (really good food) and clean kitchen (you can take a peak ar it as it is semi-opened)

If you are looking to "enjoy the silence" - than this is the place for you. If you enjoy live music - than this is the place for you as well (even chef Antonio is ocassionally one of the singers)

Best hotel in Sinaia, by far.
I will always stay at this hotel, when I'm going to Sinaia for skiing or only a quick walk in the park.

I've just made another reservation for this weekend, with my fiends.

I like the "unusual" forest restaurant. It has a good, rustic vibe.
The food is traditional and very tasty.

Here is most wonderful and most beautiful place in the forest. Beside most hostable stuff I have ever been here. You are really feeling here what means is 5 stars. Definitely should taste the restaurant at delicious meals with acceptable prices. This hotel is one of the " must ' on my list.

This is, perhaps, the only one true 5 stars hotels in Prahova Valley. The great in-the-forest location combined with the ease of on-road access and the large, dedicated parking space, make this venue a perfect choice for both week-long as well as short weekend getaways. Add operating-room grade cleanliness and extremely friendly staff and you get the perfect recipe for a great holiday. The a-la-carte restaurant has a great menu with many choices for all tastes. The included breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.

-Rooms are very large and with a great layout.
-Bathrooms are huge, with a modern-to-vintage outlook.
-All areas are extremely clean, and everything is kept super tidy
-Common areas give a feeling of coziness and warmth.
-Good and reliable Wi-Fi connection throughout the entire hotel
-Great breakfast with many choices, hot or cold.
-Very good sound insulation, even rooms facing the road are super quiet.
SHORTCOMINGS
-One cannot, really, fault this place and its facilities
SUGESTIONS
-Perhaps an outdoor heated pool would be the pinnacle of amenities. What would be better than a relaxing bath in the middle of the forest?
-Charging stations for hybrid/electric cars would be a great addition.

The facilities of the hotel are great. Rooms are big and nice. The reception hall makes you feel like you are in your own living room. There is also a fireplace in the "living room". The hotel has also a restaurant.
