Stunning views over the Danube river, very friendly and welcoming staff and a well cooked fish casserole with an unique blend of spices

Staff at the restaurant was friendly and helpful. Food was a bit less expensive than the other reviews said and the quality was okay. We stayed at Rex and the view was amazing, the room was nice, didnt have any problems with the AC(you have to close the windows for it to work, there are some sensors, so energy isn't wasted). The bathroom was modern, didn't have problems with hot water(everytime i wanted to use it it worked and didnt stop or anything). Also had a minifridge in the room.

Excellent stop after visiting the statue and doing a boat ride. There are several signs leading you to this location... follow the signs, you will not be disappointed. We arrived and were greeted pleasantly. The restaurant was expecting a large group so out seating selection was limited, however, the friendly staff made us feel welcome. We opted for a light lunch and a few beers. The food was excellent and the views were amazing. I highly recommend this location. I feel no one will be disappointed.

If You want to be exactly in the Heart of Cazanele Dunarii that's the place to stay !!! Right on the Danube ,with amazing views at Cazanele Mici (small) to the left and Cazanele Mari (Big) to the right and a huge beautiful rocky mountain in front ! Friendly staff,beautiful pool and nice restaurant with great views . The New Villa REX is very beautiful with great views from the hill and higher standards in the rooms. Options for all the trips in the area,right from the hotel. I love this place !

Only went for the restaurant there, which is great. Must try the fish dishes, which are delicious.

We stoped for a quick bite and ate the best fish soup & the view from the restaurant is fantastic
