Taverna Georgia

I love Georgian food and this place delivered. Me and my friends tried everything ranging from pickled vegetables, eggplant salad, kebabs, pies and the Georgian dumplings. Overall really good experience, a bit pricey but what can you do. I love food and this place hit the right spot. There are many tables but make sure to book a table in advance. Best way to eat is by sharing, there are a lot of interesting foods for every taste bud.

Delicious! Everything we tried was fresh and good. The service was nice but more smiles would be nice. We tried many different dishes but I look forward to coming back and trying others!

Great food, fresh and diverse, excelent service and clean location. Loved the music. I will come back for sure. Only one comment: the lack of special chairs for small kids.

Nice Georgian restaurant with good food, wine and authentic interior. As for the atmosphere, I expected to hear Georgian music, but it didn't happen. Also the waiter confused and brought the wrong wine that we ordered. Anyway I strictly recommend visiting this nice restaurant.

I really liked the atmosphere (they play Georgian music and sometimes there is even live music). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food arrived quickly and I believe it is fairly priced.

Adjarian Hachapuri was the best of what I tried so far.

The different taste pies are big and good. The only problem is that it's winter but we only allow you to sit outside.

Great Georgian food! It’s the first time I’ve tried and I felt it like a mix between Turkish and Slavic food. My favorite were the beef and pork dumplings with broth (I forgot the real name), but also the mincemeat lamb kebab was amazing. I definitely recommend!

The first georgian restaurant in Bucharest. The terrace is perfect for a warm day.
We had some red georgian wine (strong but really tasty) and we sampled most of the food. The dishes were tasty, hearthy and warm, perfect to share with your friends or family. Will surely come back.

The food is delicious, really great and cozy place. The thing that I don't like much is that at the zone where we were seated, there were people who smoked, but we weren't asked previously if we mind or not. Other than this, I'm fully satisfied

I don't know how authentic the food is, but booooy is it delicious.
The most surprising thing was the bread. I have never, ever had such fluffy bread.
Sounds weird to praise a restaurant for something as simple as bread, but it was really that good.
The other thing I had was the pork okhtauri (probably mangled that) and it was sublime.
The outside terrace is quiet and chic.
It is definitely a must-go.

Good food, the service could be a little faster. We waited a long time for the server to take our order, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The prices are high, and the portions are small for what they offer.

I was born and raised in the Caucasus and can say that the food is 100% authentic and restaurant has 100% Georgian vibes. I am surprised by the negative reviews coming mostly from the Romanians which never visited Georgia in their life and complaining about food and atmosphere and compairing their experience with one from the other Georgian restaurants from Europe (but never from Georgia itself). If you don't like food here, it just means that Georgian food is not your cup of tea, but not that it's not authentic. The restaurant is a bit expensive, that's true, but it is justified, because owners hire people from Georgia and bring wine/ingridients, to offer this amazing authentic experience

Super interesting to try, and very tasty food. (The food was a bit too oily for my taste, but I assume that's how the traditional food should be)

I spent 8 weeks in Georgia and I can assure you, this is the best, most authentic food I've had outside of Georgia. Absolutely delicious and well worth your time and money. Get the Hincali but make sure your waiter instructs you on how to eat it properly. :)

Very tasty food and Very attentive service. A bit slow on the serving teh dishes, but nothing unpleasant, in the end it's a restaurant and not a fast food joint. overall a recommend experience.
