Sabor a Lisboa

Enjoyed this quaint place on a small side street. The service was absolutely wonderful! The folks working were great! The food was good! The shrimp appetizers were delicious! I highly recommend them! The vegetable soup was good too! The paella was ok and bigger than expected! I would without a doubt recommend this place! The place has about 10-15 tables so it’s not a pig place. Go early or be ready to wait but it does go fast! Check them out! Yeah bring cash!

Highlights: Excellent bacalhau, friendly and helpful service

This restaurant felt like a delicious hole in the wall place just off of Avenida da Liberdade. From trying a new soup (sopa Alentejana) to the tried and true bacalhau, we enjoyed our experience. The soup is very spiced, but tasted excellent! I would recommend this place if you are in the area. Our waiter João saw that our needs were met, and provided us information on the area.

A-MAZ-ING!! We just came back from our experience and are still speechless. We ate the bread with garlic and cheese, the chicken breast with baked potatos and salat and the cheese cake for dessert. To drink we had the sangria with white wine. I am so blessed! That all was so perfect! Thank you!

Cozy and family restaurant, great service, great food. We were a group of 6 and we have the best dinner during our stay in Lisbon. The paella was incredible. Highly recommended

Such a nice young waiter! Good was so good as well, fish was very fresh and simply cooked.
Got rewarded with a little vine for the longer wait for our meal, however, we all felt very well looked after.

The owner is the best feature of this resraurant. 👌 He is so helpful, chatty, amusing and can speak probably 300 languages.
We finally tasted a bit of the portuguese cuisine here and it was delicious.

Had an amazing experience at Sabor a Lisboa. This was my first time in Portugal, and in Europe for that matter; but the ambiance and the quality of the food were both top tier, and my meal was very reasonably priced. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and welcomed my friend and I as if we were locals. Highly recommend visiting this spot if you ever find yourself in Lisbon and in need of delicious food at a great price.

Great value for the price. We had fish paella (dish for 2). The portion was really big and tasty. Staff is friendly and talkative. The place isn't too spacious so you might end up in a table close to other people

Awesome dinner and nice and personal service.
From the outside it doesn’t look like much but the food is really delicious. Prices are really fair compared to the other restaurants closer to the main streets.
Ask for the specials on the menu, they were awesome. And try the chocolate cake ;-)

Only minus: you have to pay cash, cards don’t really work there as it seems.

The best dinner i've had in lisbon. Service was great, the food was exceptional. The best Thing was the chocolate cake, if you are ever here: Go try the chocolate cake, you wont regret it

Good taste of Portugal cruises and worth to taste in Lisbon. The waitor is humor and give me a good memory to recall.

Really delicious food with super helpful and friendly waiting staff. The seafood and fish soup (cataplana) was incredible. Really tasty. Great value for money, just under €60 for 3 courses and wine and coffees.

The restaurant staff was very nice and friendly. They speak English very well and have basic French. the food was very good and more than reasonably priced. a plus for the chocolate cake.

Delicious Portuguese food! We enjoyed everything we ordered, from soup to main to dessert.
The owner is very friendly and we had a nice conversation while the restaurant is not so busy.

A great spot with good food, great staff and highly affordable prices. It is not the most touristic neighborhood, but it is also not far. Many tourists do find it. Highly recommend.
