Delicious food and top notch service! Miguel was our waiter and he treated us like royalty! We had a blast! A+

XL is one of Lisbon’s well established high class fine dining venue. Tourists would rarely discover it. Its suflet as main dish, be it the spinach suflet or the baccalat ( cod fish) suflet, are very popular and melts in the mouth. Service is very good. Our waiter Ginja took care of us gently. It is a place with sense of humor as its entrance door displays a sign that it has three Michelin stars but when you read the fine print under it , it clearly makes fun of that rating system and disclaims having Michelin star. Located in the historical Sao Bento neighborhood towards Lapa , right across the Parliament building, it hosts every night Lisbon’s well known politicians, journalists and businessmen. Closed for lunch.

Vasco Gallego has created over 20 years of excellence here. It’s like home! I love it! One of the best in Lisbon! The clam starters with fries are divine and the food is awesome! Amazing service too.

Dou 5 stars para a comida o serviço muito simpatico e eficiente o lugar é bonito e gostoso de ficar. MAS O MAITRE É EXTREMAMENTE ANTIPATICO E SEM NOÇÃO DO QUE É UM ATENDIMENTO 5 STARS. Sou sempre muito bem atendido e frequento o Gambrinus, o Belcanto, o Sr vinho e nunca vi um maitre tão antipático.

Premier restaurant en arrivant à Lisbonne. Et quelle surprise. Les plats sont très bon. Nous nous sommes régalés ma compagne et moi. C'est une adresse à retenir à coup sûr. Le service est somptueux. Je reviendrais à coup sûr avant de partir de Lisbonne.

En arrivant près de l appartement et seul restaurant ouvert on a pas était déçu... gastro mais avec des portions de routier... attention les soufflés sont servi dans une soupiere ( portion individuelle ) et non un petit ramequin comme on s y attendrai ... trop copieux
