I disagree with the previous reviews, my daughter is in Reception Class at Almancil and has enjoyed going to school everyday. The teachers are all fully qualified and caring. It is true that there are no after school clubs yet due to Covid, but these will hopefully start in Term 2, if recommended by the ministry. There are lots of outside areas for the children to play and learn too. I've been very happy so far!

I am very happy with this school. Especially during this covid time. They made online schooling a beautiful experience for our kids. Absolutely great support. And an opportunity for parents to see what your kid is learning and help them. My kid is in Year 1.

Just because you pay for an education doesn't mean it will be good. I don't know where to start with Nobel Almancil. To give some background, before starting Nobel my son (age6) attended school in the UK where we were used to being kept upto date with his reading level, he played instruments at school, etc. Covid restricts some areas of the school and I understand that. Covid is something you can work with, if does not stop my sons reading level being assessed, and being able to bring books home, neither does it stop the use of musical instruments and playing basic sports!
I am deeply saddened that parents have no other choice but to send them to this school. I understand this is a new school and things are only coming together, but the price should reflect this . At 3,200 a term it is not acceptable how the school functions. Having met the Head teacher Mr Farrer, he is in total denial and blames covid and the school new, they already have an established campus in Lagoa so that is no excuse.
On a positive note, my son is happy, and enjoys many aspects of the school. We are leaving the school at Christmas, now going down Portuguese route, so my 6year old will at least be enriched with a new language.
At a stretch this is a mediocre English speaking school, if you are happy with that, then this school is for you :)

This school has zero ethics. All is organized based on profit. Safety issue, lack of personnel, very low quality standards for the canteen, high fees with insane annual increases. Lots of unanswered matters. Parents do their best to help but they are not being treated respectfully. If you are looking for a good and and healthy environment for your kids, don’t got there.

This school is excessively costly considering the quality of service it provides. The food is extremely unsatisfactory, the classrooms are overcrowded with insufficient assistance, resulting in a lack of support for the students. The teachers are inadequately compensated, leading to a high turnover rate, leaving only those who conform to the system. There is a lack of extracurricular activities, and when there are clubs, they are not overseen by experts but rather by school teachers. The quality of the classes remains uncertain as external certifications are not encouraged. Criticism is not accepted by the management, who solely prioritizes profit. Any public school would be a preferable alternative to this institution.

Covid seems to be their excuse not to deliver the activities, music and enrichment they claimed. Facilities poor, no after school clubs and overpriced in relation to value.
