Addendum 2 years later: This health insurance has been good until you use up your yearly benefits. Then you must wait until it resets on the anniversary of your enrollment (or pay the going rate). But the thing I found REALLY off-putting is that our policy has an alternative health allowance. But when I sent in my vouchers, no word back and certainly no reimbursement. So you might want to consider this when purchasing your health insurance. (We are in our 70's which is why we chose it, no pre-existing waiting time, just the usual 90 days until it goes into effect.) We chose the Essential Plan because we don't have any major health issues. Overall, we've been okay with it.
