Absolutely fantastic. Out of the way locals place where the locals know what food and wine are. I can't say where or when I've had a better meal. Amazing food and service with class and without pretense, 5 stars aren't enough.

Simply perfect, the food is regional bit they have a few quite good easy dishes. I had the steamed cabbage with meat which was divine.

Lovely cozy restaurant with traditional local dishes. I tried the black pork cheeks and they were extremely tender and delicious.
The waiter was friendly and discretely helpful.

Nice decor, delicious food. We just made a meal of starters and it was very tasty: black sausage, pork on olive oil, mixed salad, soup.

Superb Portugese food, the best we've had this trip. Do try the dessert as well. This is not a cheap restaurant, but it's worth it

This is the type of restaurant you hope when you visit new places. Nice people who make sure you have a pleasant stay and serve you great local food! And as a bonus they happen to have a great winecellar!

Wow. Love this authentic restaurant. Visited for lunch. 2 starters bread and house wine 🍷 enough for our English stomach but taste was superb. Pork & prawn starters. Delivered white & brown bread. Excellent.

Really nice service, not too rushed or too slow. Very professional. Food was really tasty, generous and well priced. We sat outside as it was a very warm night and it was a nice atmosphere. The waiters all wore masks, the cutlery and bread came in paper bags and the tables were well spaced, all very covid aware and safe. Overall we really liked it and will be reserving a table again in the next few days.

Even though we sat outside (because we took our dog...) it was a very pleasant experience. The food was superb. The lamb apparently melted in your mouth (I don't eat lamb, but my kids do and they loved it) and the fish soup was delicious...I had it as a meal and it was more than enough. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the only complaint we had was that everyone seemed to be served before us...but that's always the case when one is starving, lol. I have to say that all the dishes flying off to other tables looked divine. We peeked inside the restaurant and it had a very pleasant ambiance, beautifully decorated and very clean.
Thorough recommend it.

Very tasty, especially the local dishes like the cabbage and pork dish, and the Chestnut, beans and vegetables dishes.
