We loved this place so much that we came back here twice. We loved the octopus with sweet potato mash, and the pot of seafood stew. These two were really really good.

I tried the steak the next day and I have to say I'm surprised people have said it's the best they've ever had. I would say the steak was very average.

We would have loved to come back to try other dishes for sure.

Top Notch! High quality service with very well prepared food. Extensive Portuguese wine list with much variety. Might be the best restaurant in Sintra. Really enjoyed the whole experience!

We ate very well in Sintra - amazing food everywhere, and Como was a great contender.
We were here late February & ate on a weekday around 7:30pm. We did not have a reservation but I would recommend one as it gets busier. My husband and I shared the tomahawk with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies and it was amazing! The best steak I have ever had (and we eat a lot of steak…). It was a good size for both of us and our server did great helping us pick wine.
For dessert we did the chocolate mouse and cheesecake & it did not disappoint.

We walked to Como as it was close to our air bnb, but I don’t believe they have much for parking. There is a lot at the end of the road they are on though!
Overall great experience, great service & great price.

All great food. Cover is better to or the different fresh breads. Fish soup was rich and full of good quality prawns and fish. Duck with it's accompanying vegetables was tasty and soft for the right amount of pink. My partners entrecote one of the nicest steaks he's had in many trips to Portugal. I got chips after ordering baked potatoes. I was happy when I saw them, they were cooked beautifully but I ended up with both and all the waiters were giving me potatoes throughout the meal, which was funny! We've enjoyed all the food in Sintra but Como is the place we will remember the most for quality

If I could give more than five stars for service I would! Our water was more of a tour guide, telling us we might want to go next with expert suggestions that we will pursue in the coming days. The food was incredible but the atmosphere and personal attention was even better!

This was a wonderful place for dinner in Sintra. The service was the absolute best, a lovely atmosphere with outstanding wine selection. Our meal was perfect, fresh and flavorful with typical Portuguese traditions.
We enjoyed fresh spring pea soup, baked fresh goat cheese with jam and a fantastic seafood rice stew. Ask your servers for suggestions for the perfect pairings.

COMO is the best restaurant we have gone to during our trip to Portugal. We dined here for two consecutive dinners cuz the food is too good!
During first night, we tried the Pica Pau, the seafood rice stew (for 2), and Sintra signature pastry. The Pica pau is great with bread. The seafood rice stew has so much umami flavor and I loved it so much.
During second dinner, we tried the clams appetizer which was a bit too salty for me but has good flavor. I loved loved loved the grilled tiger shrimp, although it was a bit pricey, when drizzled with melted butter and spicy sauce/oil, coupled with garlic cilantro rice, it’s a dish to die for…We also had the grilled octopus which was also great.

It was truly amazing. Second time I come back to this place and let me tell you something, it was the best restaurant in sintra!!!!!!!! Definitely coming back here.

We came here our second evening in Sintra, and it was wonderful! The staff is attentive and kind, the food was great, and the atmosphere relaxing. We had the prawn risotto, bife como, a bottle of wine, and the pumpkin souffle and cheesecake for desserts.

If you enjoy wine, you will find a thorough selection here at reasonable prices for reds, whites, greens, and rosés. If you're unsure about your wine, the staff is knowledgeable and ready to help. Give them a try!

We loved the food so much here we came back a couple days later with my parents. My husband said it was the best octopus dish he ever had!
The waitstaff was extremely friendly. They were very attentive and patient with my elderly parents when it came to menu modifications and the general questions they had.
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! We are definitely coming back on our return visit to Sintra.

Highly recommend this restaurant in Sintra. Close to city hall, yet very quiet location. Food was outstanding. Menu is detailed with something for every taste. Excellent wine selection, great service. Waiter recommended dessert and port pairing that completed our excellent dinner experience. Atmosphere was lively, but not loud. Busy 8:30pm and later.

Fine dining a bit off the usual tourist places. We were seated without a reservation and were impressed by the elegant ambience and the highly professional, yet laid back and kind service. Everything we ordered was cooked very well and the wine our waitress recommended fitted the meal perfectly.

The grilled octopus is a house specialty.

The servers are very friendly and attentive. Dishes are delicious and nicely plated. Both the grilled octopus and pork loin are tender and well seasoned. I particularly love the side dishes — the creamed spinach is creamy but not heavy, and the fried potatoes wedges are crispy on the outside and fork tender on the inside. They also serve some really good local wines and egg pudding as well! Highly recommended.

Very nice, cozy restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and helpful- it is evident that they take a lot of pride in providing good service and good food. I would certainly recommend this restaurant, and suggest trying the chocolate mousse dessert.

Joachim and his team were amazing! Super authentic and simple atmosphere while the food was so qualitative. We had the best octopus and sweet potatoes purée. We took the dessert travesseiros de sintra and it was so good that we had another one. Wine was top. Of If I come back in Sintra, I will go back there for sure! They are amazing!

Wow wow amazing rice , seafood, soups, and the service is really good. It is not high end restaurant, it is casual but nice. And the food is top top.

Good food and great wines. Very reasonable prices. Nice to see that people like graphical design as much as good wines!! Outside in the patio is quite but very cosy to sit. We had a very good evening!

One of the best meals I've had and the best experience I've ever had in a restaurant! The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The sommelier did an excellent job of helping us choose wines. The food was delicious. The octopus was cooked to perfection. It was truly a magical night that we won't forget. Please visit this restaurant when you're in Sintra. You won't regret it!
