Found this tiny restaurant while traveling. The service was over the top. They served us an amazing lunch which included five courses. I think I spent under 25 Euros total for the whole lunch and it was worth every penny

Probably the best meal we've had. It was a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it.

The host recommended it to us. The pork sirloin with mushrooms and sauce were to die for. They even gave us another plate of handmade crisps after seeing how much we enjoyed them.

Bang. An experienced google map user aren’t you? You just found sintra’s sweet spot. Exceptional atmosphere, hospitality and quality. An authentic local restaurant. Traditional food made with love. Dishes are pricey but huge and meant to be shared. The chicken soup was one of the best I ever had. The fillet steak was beautifully prepared, the lamb chops, the beef skewer and the veal escalope too. The elegant and smooth local wine not to be missed. The place is packed with local families so it is better to reserve a place in advance. The waiters (probably family members) are super friendly and helpful.
TIP: the number of main courses to order should be one-two less than the number of people in your group. For example if you are a family of 4, order 3 dishes. The portions are really big.

No photos to share. However, it was an interesting and quaint family business. Food and service were top notch. Friendly staff and efficient. We had cabbage soup, salad, pork steaks with fries and rice and Dulce de Leche style custard.

I am very fussy with food and service. the customer service is good, food is authentic and fresh! I just left Barcelona, there you will have super salty food with no customer service at all . In compare, this place is pretty great. Its pretty busy that proved its great quality. I will definitely come visit again.

Very good food and very generous portions!, almost impossible to eat any of their plates by yourself. Traditional portuguese restaurant and food, staff makes you feel warm and at home. Highly recommend!

Our table had roasted Goat and Veal. We also had the Portuguese Steak in Cream and other in Au Jus Sauce (the Portuguese steaks were the best!) so so so tender and fall of the bone, cut with a fork. This resultant has been the best one so far in Portugal!! A must.

Too many days in Cascais and already tired of fish and seafood?! Come and try the grilled 'cabrito' (kid: milk-fed young goat)! Traditional Portuguese restaurant not far away from Sintra's city centre. Worth the visit!

The food was delicious. We went there 2 nights in a row because the food was so good. Prices are very reasonable as the portions are generous. Staff was great even though they are extremely busy they are always smiling and engaging with customers. I highly recommend this establishment. JZ

What a pleasant surprise! Our hotel concierge recommended this place for dinner, and I am always skeptical of the places hotel concierges recommend. This was quite the exception! We had an amazing meal with excellent service and attention by the owner’s son, Sergio. Sergio recommended a great bottle of wine as well an appetizer and entree that are house specialties. This meal will be one that will stay with me for a very long time.

Excellent food - we had a nice piece of well-cooked steak and a very delicious bacalao with onions and garlic. Fresh bread on a Sunday evening! All served with potatoes and veg and greens. Friendly staff and good service

What a fantastic family owned restaurant with amazing servers that has unmatched flare and style. A local favorite which was highly recommended by our hotel managers.
