Small, very well organised museum near the local airbase. Good selection of aircraft, comercial and war planes. Well worth a visit. Easy access by road and plenty of parking place. Relatively near Lisbon, only reachable by car.

Very nice, neat and tidy. Great collection, interesting and educational. You'll have a great time there.
On the down side, you can't go in or even get close and high enough to peek through the windows of most of the aircrafts (which is something that would attract a lot of aficionados), the coffee shop was closed and apparently does not open often, and for some reason (maybe rain(?)) the exterior collection was off limits. There were some very cool planes there but I wasn't able to get to them. Perhaps they're working on that part of the exhibition, I honestly don't know.
Anyway, highly recommended. Overall very positive experience.

Highly recommend, the place is very interesting for both kids and adults, so many different aviation machines - fantastic! Affordable, good parking, super customers centered staff, lots of interactive things.

amazing museum that looks after their aircraft. Standard or display is incredible and in English as well as Portuguese on many displays. €3 for an adult which is the best value aviation museum I have been too, great little shop too. Cafe there but wasn’t open but very reasonably priced vending machine. Worth the trip out of Lisbon if staying there.

Such a great museum! Lots of airplanes, options to sit inside and press buttons, pull levers. Interactive screens. All at a very reasonable price. We visited with 2 boys aged 3 and 8 - perfect entertainment for them and us!

It is a must see for every aviation enthusiast visiting Portugal. A fantastic collection featuring many aspects of aviation. I will definitely visit again. More english labels and descriptions would be nice. The audio guide is a bit short on informations.

Unbelievable display of Airplane history. And it's a bargain price.

At this museum you'll find a collection of old aircraft, from the 1930s to the 1980s. A few are models, others are the real thing. A few of them can actually be entered allowing you to view (and touch) the cockpit controls.

Further, there is an exposition of flight personnel uniforms through the years, as well as cabin eating utensils and publicity materials. Entrance fee is EUR 3 and EUR 1 for children.

Airplanes, helicopters and jets! Several hangars with real aircraft on display, each of them with their own history. Also pretty uniforms and machinery both military and civilian as there's also a TAP and ANA exhibition.
The last, birth of the Portuguese Air force section is also great.

A very well taken care museum. A good place to spend the day with kids who like airplanes and airplane engineering. Lots of airplanes including a DC3 that actually participated on D-day.
The museum has a shop too.

Interesting! I really liked that the real creator of airplane, and the true first plane that really flew, Santos Dumont and the 14 Bis, are the first things we can see.

One of the greatest museums of Portugal. Very well organized and we can see real fighter planes! Please don't miss and take your kids!

Very nice museum with some interesting and unique examples. Presents an insight into Portuguese aviation history and also a nice renewed space with TAP Air Portugal history. Has the added bonus of being part of an airbase, with the air force academy and an active runway
