We were a Walking Football team playing in the 8th Algarve Cup at Brown’s nearby and walking to the restaurant on two occasions - we were so well looked after!
If you are anywhere near you must try it!

This might be one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The setting, food, ambiance, and service were perfect from start to finish. My dad and I wandered in on a Sunday night when many places were closed and I’m so glad we did. I can not wait to come back.

An absolute gem. Incredible Portuguese food (especially the prawns and the cataplana). Beautiful garden setting with excellent friendly service. Causal relaxed atmosphere with jazz background music. Probably the best meal we had in the Algarves. Try everything.

Fantastic restaurant, perfect from start to finish. The setting is nice and intimate. The food was amazing, get the tiger prawns, so succulent and fresh. The service is some of the best I've experienced. This family run restaurant is a 10/10 meal, go if you come to Portugal!

This lovely place tucked away near Vilamoura resulted in a perfect evening for me and my wife. Every dish was an absolute pleasure. One can tell that every aspect of dishes served was carefully picked, from the monkfish that accompanied the lobster to the scotch-infused Piri Piri chilly oil. Delicious from start to finish. The couple that serve and cook are the standard that will be next to impossible to beat here in the Algarve!

We arrived late and the owner was very gracious and served us even though the kitchen was closed. The hospitality was the best I have had in a very long time. Even though the kitchen was closed we were served a most delicious meal. This feels is our new favorite place in Portugal. Simple the best experience.

The setting, the converted front room and enclosed patio of the owners converted home. Both beautifully decorated with ornaments and wall paintings that scream Portugal, the latter enclosed in a wonderful garden. The staff, friendly to a fault, I was driving and they kept trying to give me port (for free) and order me a taxi! The food wouldn't be out of place in a Mayfair restaurant, immaculate presentation, fantastic delicate flavours and impressive service. The wine selection is top notch too! The perfect place for a romantic evening.

Such a lovely little restaurant, a bit out of the way, but very much worth the little trip. Must visit!

We really enjoyed our meal in Oliveira Dourada. It was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this restaurant. A very interesting and unique menu. Warm welcome from proprietors Jose and Zelda.

Wow what a great find, booked a table for Wednesday, it was so good we went Friday aswell. The quality of the food and cooking were superb. The host was very attentive and friendly in a very relax atmosphere. Have to get taxi there and back due to location, €4 approx, each way. We will be back when we holiday next year. Obrigado

We ate there yesterday for dinner. The oliveira dourada is a small restaurant with a really lovely ambiente and very polite and friendly waiters. You wouldnt expect that from the first impression of the area. Just the tables were a little unstable.
Those things were nice and unexpected. But the food was just more. It was faboulus and tastful. It was the best food we had in the last five days at the algarve and also one of the best portugeuse dishes we ate altogehter.
All in all this restaurant deserves 5 stars and is a much better recommendation than all the restaurants down at the oceanside/the harbor.

Amazing restaurant. Just amazing. Trust the reviews. Menu looks limited... but EVERYTHING is awesome. The owners are so friendly and we had a great meal for a great price. We got extra olives for free because we said we liked them, and a free glass of wine as they didn't have another drink we wanted. The couvert is lovely and don't worry about the 'surprise' desert - we each got a different one and they were all really nice. Please give it a try. We wish we'd found this place earlier.

Probably one of the best meals I've had eating out for a long time. Couldn't fault anything. It was quiet when we were there as it was early Jan but I would expect you would have to book a long way ahead in high season.

Ridiculously delicious food and wine for the price. The setting, service and menu is thoughtfully unique and personal.

Using local in-season ingredients and reviving many long forgotten traditional recipes, the owners have created a gem of an experience.
