Hotel is clean, staff excellent, food varied. Good facilities and great beach access! Personally I can't fault what we were presented with. I have read others reviews and comments but can honestly say, everything we expected and experienced was as we planned and thought. All things considered, worth while complex and worthy of a return trip.!!

This hotel is perfectly situated between the strip and the old town
The room we had was on the 5th floor, beach and pool view. The sunset it beautiful!

We never struggled for something to eat at the all inclusive restaurant. The restaurant is on the 8th floor giving visitors a fab view over the beach.
We would definitely return!

The music around the pool was like being in a nightclub, that is my only complaint. There was lots of comments about the noise.

The cleaning team have until 4.30pm to clean rooms, that would have been nice to be advised of this when checking in

You must experience a tuctuc. They buzz about all day

Lovely hotel for 3star, clean but dated room, sea view balcony, all inclusive was well worth the money, lovely helpful staff, 15min walk along the beach to old town or free bus, really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely return, recommended

Lovely, clean and very spacious. Beautiful beach and swimming pool views. Cleaned beds made every day. Even although we were all inclusive we cood have done with more on the way of glasses etc for having a drink in the apartment. But that is the only negative.

Almost everything about this resort was great. I highly recommend it. The food was really good and diverse. A lot of types of fish. It really offers high value for the price. Our vacation was excellent!

This hotel was very good. The value you get for this hotel is crazy. We got apartment with two balconies (both with views of the beach). Furthermore the beach is only a couple minutes walk. They have bars and restaurants within a couple minute walk. They have three swimming pools (2 outdoor, 1 indoor). They also have access to tennis courts/equipment with their brother hotel nearby. Overall a great experience here and would HIGHLY recommend.

Probably the best situated Hotel in Albufiera. If your looking for luxury it’s not for you. If your looking for a base, a central location between the old town and new town, super friendly staff, the beach on your doorstep, entertainment for kids and adults, very generous drinks, a massive variety of food at breakfast lunch and dinner, fantastic service then this is the place for you!!!
We landed late on a Saturday night after dinner-time had finished. The service was just amazing. The receptionist had prepared a light dinner for us so we didn’t go to sleep on empty stomachs. The rooms are huge, clean 🧼 and provide everything you need - towels and loo role every day - where as some hotels provide new towels every 2nd day. The water pressure was amazing (one of the them where it gives you a massage). There is a fridge so you can keep drinks cool in your room. Sliding doors with a shutter at night to block out every bit of light so your sleep doesn’t get disturbed. Air-con which is also a heating system for those that feel that nesh at night and blankets too. A bidet for those posh individuals. (Not for me, Thanks). Literally everything you could ask for. Two, breakfast, lunch and dinner time slots with an a massive, abundance and variety of food, you find yourself wanting to try everything!! If your fully inclusive the drinks are just amazing, generous and again a huge variety with a house cocktail of the day, everyday. There are 2 swimming pools, one outside and one heated indoor pool. The indoor one can get busy and mainly used by those with babies. If all else fails, you have the sun, sea and sand on your doorstep. Absolutely beautiful views for sunrise and sunset. If you’re able to, drag yourself out of bed and get to the beach early morning, I guarantee you won’t regret it. The staff are super kind, helpful, generous and work so hard. I couldn’t recommend Monica Isabel enough. Thank you so much for our stay and our lovely experience. 💫

We literally got back from here yesterday and gotta say really enjoyed the place the staff were super friendly especially some on the lads in the restaurant. Food was really good lots to choose from we mainly had breakfast and dinner which both tasted really nice. Outdoor pool was cold so we spent most of our days in the indoor pool but to add the sea was also cold we only ventured in twice in 10 days. I did do 2 scuba dives on Monday I had a 7ml suit on with under vest and hood and my computer was stating 12c so was cold for this time of year I’m guessing. Overall would recommend staff and food was great. I think going to Europe at the moment is very expensive especially if you want to do excursions or even eat out or buy snacks etc. Would I go back yes but not anytime soon but thanks for the memories 👍🏻one thing I would say when we booked stated private beach but it’s open to everyone and I mean everyone!!

I absolutely loved the hotel! Everything was great. Big room, lovely staff and great food! Very close to the old town and the beach is just beside. I will definitely be back.

Gorgeous place. Friendly and helpful staff. Apartments spacious clean with beautiful views. Hotel based few steps away from thw beach. Very child friendly with many activities during school holidays. Food was yummy too. Very big choice of fresh tasty food- even the most fussy eaters will come out of that hotel with full stomach. I cannot praise this hotel enough. It's worth every penny and I recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Albufeira and looking for a great place to stay. I spent my first holiday with my 5year old son in there and we had fantastic time.

I personally found this hotel fantastic. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and the entertainment team are fantastic. The location is perfect with the old town being around a 25 minute walk down the beach or a free bus, taxi or tuk tuk away. The food was nice but typical of an all inclusive. The pool area is also a decent sun trap. The one bedroom apartment we were given was lovely and spacious. A bit dated and the bathroom occasionally had a weird smell but very comfortable. Overall a very charming hotel, loved it!

Lovely location, beautiful beaches. The apartment was spacious & clean. The food was good, you could always find something you liked. Lots of friendly people. Good base for the night life, just five minutes in taxi.

Great hotel and great value for money, staff was very friendly, location to the beach and Albufeira was really good, would certainly come again.

Fourth time staying at this resort now, absolutely loved it again, I recommend this hotel!

Resort/Hotel:
Monica Isabel Beach Club is situated on the beach. There is a free shuttle to The Old Town. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Strip and to the Old Town. About 20-30 minutes to the Shopping Centre where Continente (supermarket) is.

Resort/Hotel ~ Restaurant:
There is always plenty of food at the restaurant to choose from! You can make meals out of the food available and they do really tasty “Dish of the Day”.
Breakfast and dinner buffets are my favourite and I always make sure not to miss it. It’s a shame they no longer have Apple Juice available at breakfast, they no longer do toasties, you have to toast your own bread instead (not as convenient as it already being made - less queues) and they no longer serve scrambled egg every day either.
I cannot fault the staff at the restaurant. They are so friendly and made sure everything was alright.

Resort/Hotel ~ Bar:
There is a basic drinks menu at the bar now which makes it easier to order, however, I think it could still be expanded to show which cocktails they offer and which cocktails are able to be purchased.
I spent most of my nights at the bar watching the entertainment. The staff at the bar are amazing, incredibly friendly. Claudia, Igor and Domingos (and 2 other bar-men - a Brazilian and Portuguese, did not get their names) made us feel welcome and always had smiles on their faces and remembered us from previous years.

Resort/Hotel ~ Entertainment:
Unfortunately, we were unaware that the entertainment had moved from the bar area to the Millennium Bar so we missed most of the entertainment throughout the week.

Resort/Hotel ~ Room:
We stayed in 308A. The room was a bit run down and smaller compared to the other rooms I stayed in, in previous years. The air conditioner didn’t work very well as someone had obviously opened up the plastic flap with their hands instead of remote, also made a clicking sound every now and then and made our balcony wet due to a pipe. However, it had a flat screen Samsung TV, with a few channels on it - British, Portuguese, Spanish, and German. The room had a small kitchenette - no problem. Bathroom was spacious. Would prefer to stay in one of the other rooms I stayed in before. Room was cleaned every day but we also had no “do not disturb” sign. The view and sound of the sea made up for the faults in the room.

Resort/Hotel ~ Pools:
There's 3 pools available, 2 outdoors, 1 has a snack bar and music, the other one is quiet and near the Kids Club. There's an indoor pool with a jacuzzi and a small gym in a separate room with a sauna. Sauna has no instructions so it is hard to use.

The main outdoor pool by the beach has a snack bar. The only fault is that people leave their towels on the lounge beds and go somewhere else so it can be hard to find space at times.
I cannot fault the hotel for their pool facilities, as they are well looked after, clean and the staff are also friendly at the snack bar. I love spending my days at the pools, it's cleaned everyday. There is also entertainment by the pool.

Resort/Hotel ~ Staff:
The staff are so friendly and speak amazing English (+ other languages!).

Resort/Hotel ~ Wi-Fi:
There is a free wifi available near the bar and reception, but it can be slow due to how many people are using it. However, there is a portable wifi device that you can get at a small cost from reception.

Improvements:
- Elevators need to be improved.
- Add basic information on how to use the air on, cooker, etc, in the room.
- Add more information on drinks and cocktails menu at the bar.
- Please make toasties and scrambled egg every day at breakfast, again! And bring back Apple Juice at breakfast!

The staff, food and experience at this resort is what always makes me want to come back to this resort! And of course, Albufeira itself.

Rooms very clean and basic. No hairdryer or kettle but these can be borrowed from reception.
Nice view from our balcony. Constant hot water, rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels every two days.
A huge variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner a few changes but food was good so much to choose from. Also gluten free bread. Staff very nice and friendly. Hotel is beautiful the grounds and maintenance always keeping the place clean and tidy.
Because of my age and my right knee I did struggle with the hills and steps slightly.
Everything there restaurants, shops and old town not far and less than €5 in a cab. It's so central. I thoroughly enjoyed my ten days at this hotel, it's beautiful and well maintained.
I would definitely stay there again.....

It was clean every where, good food, a good atmosphere, friendly people and staff. Alot of effort into the pool party. Close to a lovely beach and town. We had a really great holiday!

Was worried after reading some of the reviews but after spending 11 nights here I had nothing to be worried about. We were on 6th floor and had up and down apartment large clean and spacious. All inclusive food and drink good.dometjing for even the fussiest of eaters. Great location beach on doorstep. Maurice the animation guy was great and made everyone feel included.

Been at this hotel 3 times absolutely brilliant place staff and hotel are really good food is lovely as well also put bus on every day to go into the old town

Went in January weather warm 18c - 20c beautiful beach lovely walk into albufeira down the beach. Food and drink ok staff friendly. Rooms getting updated clean and tidy .
