Marlot starts with a beautiful colourful salad. I take the pan fried green beans, which taste fantastic! Highly recommended!

For the main course, my wife has the vegetable stew and I have the fried vegetables with rice. My vegetables were delicious, but next time I would really go for the stew. Delicious!

Apart from the restaurant, they also have a beautiful wine shop with a huge range of fine wines. A wonderful concept!

Beautiful restaurant. The staff were polite and professional. The food absolutely delicious. The grounds clean and well maintained. A lovely experience to be there with family and friends.

Food was lovely, my rack of lamb was really tender and cooked perfectly my only criticism was that the crust was very salty, to the point I had to scrape it off. My husband had the duck and that tasted lovely too. The service was a bit meh. We were overlooked quite a few times for bigger tables and regulars. We had to ask a few different people for the bill and waited a long time for this. Some of the staff were nice and attentive though.

Absolutely fantastic! I'll post the photos of the food too, as it was just out of this world. I'm seriously well travelled and this is in my top five of around the world. Great ambience, classy crowd, no idiots or loud people. Friendly, helpful staff and the food... Out of this world!

We love this beautifully located restaurant in the midst of orange, lemon, and olive groves. The food is delicious and so well presented. Service excellent, lovely wines and relaxing atmosphere. One of our favourites.

Really in the middle of nowhere, this is my kind of restaurant for who is running away from crowded places. Lots of space, children can play, great portuguese food (specifically fish) with very high standards, great stafymakes you feel special. All you wish for. All of this has a cost, price was high but it was worth it.

Excellent traditional menu with fresh fish. Patio dining is lovely. Inside maybe a little sterile. Good wine selection.

We had the cataplana, very tasty, the best we have had in the Algarve. Great wine cellar and nice environment with good service.

Superb good, wine and service.
On a beautifully warm and sunny October day the outdoor terrace area was full. My only problem was that out of 60/70 diners there were about two people who had to light cigarettes every time they put down their forks. It really is time that smoking was totally banned in restaurants ! ( both indoors and outdoors )
Apart from that our lunch was perfection and I will be back.

First a cocktail at the bar, great food after. Pick the wine from their own store. 🍷

The restaurant was recommended to us by the homeowner of the villa we are staying at. This restaurant even on a Monday afternoon was very busy, a popular location with local customers, not just tourists. The food was amazing, presentation excellent, all the staff warm and friendly and prices very good. Cannot find any fault, hence a 5* rating, would have given 6* if it was an option. We will definitely be returning, so authentic Portuguese!!!!! Thanks for a great meal and experience 👍🙂

This was the best wild boar stew I ever had and the wine we got offered was the absolute perfect match.
With that, the absolute perfect starters, the super friendly and helpful staff and the beautiful atmosphere... I'd wish I could give a six star rating.
