I enjoyed a lot for the food, kindness and nice atmosphere. I had the best gnocchi ever at Carmo. You have to try. Hummus and steaks are also very nice. Creme brille was amaging. People are very kind. You can sit inside or outside as well. Very excellent musicians playing at the Carmo Plaza. I will visit again!

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and a great recommendation. We sat outside in the little square and shared some tapas, which were all fabulous! The olive bread is lightly toasted and delicious. A nice change from the traditional bread served. We had a healthy portion of the cod, they didn’t skimp. All the dips were tasty. I highly recommend this place!

We stopped for a quiet dinner for two while touring Lisbon. The service was incredibly friendly and our server made recommendations for food, drinks, and dessert. We started with cod croquettes which were flavorful and cooked perfect. I enjoyed the vegetarian gnocchi with seasonal vegetables and chestnuts. Our table overlooked the square and had great atmosphere for a romantic dinner. I'd recommend visiting for the food, service, and atmosphere. Thank you for a great evening.

What a lovely experience! We had a fantastic table at a wide opened window and enjoyed our evening at the fullest. The service was professional and all our six dishes were just perfect. Thank you!

Delicious food, good prices for the food and especially for wine! Particularly enjoyed the octopus salad and clams - juicy succulent and fresh above all. The monkfish and prawn rice was also tasty. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily were able to get a seat. The restaurant was busy and it was a Monday evening - I would therefore recommend reservations if you want to avoid disappointment especially if you are a larger party of diners.

My wife and I chose this place due to proximity and we are so glad that we did! Everything from the food to the wine was amazing! The octopus was hands down the best I have ever had. I highly recommend!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. We randomly decided to come here for my friend’s birthday because it was within walking distance of the hotel and had good reviews. It is now one of the biggest draws when I think about journeying back to Lisbon. Every single thing we ordered and tried was absolutely amazing from the drinks, to the soup, to the entrees and dessert. We were only upset we didn’t discover them sooner so we could have enjoyed more meals here!

We had a lovely early dinner here with friends. Three of us had the Pork Cheeks. The servings were much smaller than we expected but it was delicious nonetheless. The chocolate mousse and crème brûlée were excellent!

Location is absolutely unbelievable. Right in the middle of Largo de Camoes square. Staff is nice and attentive. Quality of the food is high and price is a align with food quality. Only improvement would be that our Peixe Halo dish had fried fish instead of natural one, which would have been better. The most impressive thing is the fact that our food remainings we ordered them for take out and mistakenly they throw them away. However, they cooked us a second round of dishes for free just to make up for it. That was super nice. Amazing experience overall and the mushroom risotto is another league.

I went in June. Food and service was great. I wish I could remember the name of this entree, but it was soooo good. It was fish and risotto…hence why some of the food is gone in the picture 🥲

Excellent food, we ordered the seafood risotto, and the Iberian porc with mushroom risotto, and both were really delicious. The chorizo entrée with pineapple chutney was very good too.

The price is not expensive at all for the quality of the food, the service and the location

It's a shame that we tried this restaurant on our last meal in Lisboa, otherwise we would surely come back

I actually wanted to go to the opposite side restaurant but I didn’t know what brought me here, I asked the waiter what was the best option for seafood dishes, he offered me “ Seafood Rice “ as you see from the picture what I attached.

The taste was amazing
The portion is much more enough
Only please don’t ask chilli oil in case you want it to be spicy:)

Lovely place/ Nice staffs and I would recommend for everyone who love Seafood like me.

Nice experience and great food - the staff all spoke excellent English and were nicely attentive. Food was great - I had the pork feathers, and that was tasty. We arrived early, around 6:00, and were seated immediately. After dinner, as we headed back down the hill, we stopped to try shots of ginjinha. Carmo was a key part of a great evening.

Really nice restaurant with delicious food menu. Has the tuna which was perfect and the staff were lovely. Didn't book so we're seated in a back room somewhat so would be a good idea to book in future.

We randomly bumped into this restaurant while walking in the city and did not regret about our choice. A small space with very cozy and classy interior. It made us feel like we were visiting our family and having a family dinner. Personnel very friendly and professional, delicious food, we've ordered vegetable soup and pork. Strongly recommended. This could also be a perfect place for a date.

Incredible cooking. Recommendations: octopus (nice and soft) and risotto tamboril (with a delicious lemony taste and huge fish chunks). Bravo! And if you aren’t allergic to nuts go for the nuts caramel cake!

Great place in central lison to go for a drink in a beautiful setting. Good atmosphere outside with live music. We had a great Portuguese cheese board and some brilliant Douro. Very scenic spot with good prices. Try the cheese with potato skins and pesto.
