We went here a few times and had drinks with a cheese toasted sandwich

Lovely coffee and selection of cold drinks

Then we saw the cheese burgers!!

They were the best I've ever eaten!! Cooked fresh and served from a hatch as we sat inside

Good sized portion and it was absolutely delicious

The staff were welcoming and friendly

We sat outside in the sunshine on another day, just off the beach and very local

We will definitely return there on our next trip!!

The best place in the area. Food and service are excellent. Just behind the beach for convenience. We just ate the best burger ever. We dine at some expensive restaurants but it's not always the best food.
We cannot fault this food, service or location. The staff are so friendly and we can only highly recommend anyone to try this place.

Amazing food and service.
We ordered a vegetarian burger and it was huge with 2 eggs and so many fries and salad. Only for 6,5 €!!
In the photo it's already half eaten ..but the plate was full!

The most adorable authentic philantropic host in the world who welcomes you friendly and offers the best food you can hope for. Good drinks too. The wine is fine, the food perfect. The homemade toasts {Tuna!!), the Burgers (Veggie: delicious!!), House Burger ( a dream), the Chief Salad (Best: the Bacon !!!). One thing better than the other. We came here last year for some hours before we had to go to the Airport. And came back because of the perfect toasts. Now we have two weeks to try all the other dishes. And we will come back. I do not want to talk about prices. But here you can meet many people who live here...Here you can imagine the world a better place: happy and peaceful. Thank you for the beautiful moments. And this is for Café Zé Sea and Café Zé on the beach.

This is a marvellous laid-back spot with incredibly good food at a great price. The salads are around 6-7€. The service is super friendly. Will come back!

Second time we’ve been here and it’s a lovely little place. Had the house burger and hot dog delite. Both were absolutely chock full of ingredients and cooked really well. The burger came with side salad, fries, a lovely fried egg, bacon and cheese, what a feast! The hot dog was served with ham and cheese, along with fries. All at a great price. Friendly service, good value drinks and lovely staff. Thanks for a great evening.

Amazing food for really great prices! 😍 Tuna homemade toasted bread was fantastic, we came back to have it twice in one day. 😁 They also have very nice coffee and sweet pastry. We were pleasantly surprised by soup of the day for 2€! This place is highly recommended. ☺

What a remarkable find in early January. Craig was an friendly, gregarious & no nonsense host. From approaching the bar to request our first drinks we knew that this was a good place!

After a few drinks, from the short menu we requested olives, pan con tomaté, tuna salad & French fries. All the food was delivered quickly & it was all as expected, freshly prepared & very tasty. The food & drinks we ordered represented excellent value for money. I enjoyed the draft Sagres 500ml beers & my wife had no complaints about the glasses of dry white wine. Craig & co are highly recommended & we will be back sooner rather than later. FIVE STARS!

A hidden gem..definitely worth the trip along the bridge and sandbank. The most amazing bacon and egg baguette all for the crazy price of €2.50. You literally can't get better!!! The toasted cheese sandwiches are amazing too!! And the best part so close to the beach for a lovely walk along to dip in the sea

Fantastic tuna salad and full on hotdog (including cheese, ham and crisps) with great chips. Good value.

Very nice Place - we really enjoyed it here. The food was so good and it was a lot! We just paid 18€ for two big orange juices (0,5 l), one coffee, two big toasties, omlette with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, salad and pommes and a nata. We highly recommend this Place.

We stopped for breakfast on Easter Sunday, not expecting much. But the food was so good, the tostada with tomato and olive oil was delicious. And the orange juice was delicious. The portions are really big, for a really reasonable price. The people that run it are lovely, and they were playing very nice music ☀🫶
