Café do Zé

Great little bar/snack bar on Wednesday January 3rd. Some sun with a breeze off the sea - the location is fantastic. €4.50 for a nice cold 500ml & a 250ml draft Sagres beer. We didn’t eat on this occasion but the toasted sandwiches looked good & not expensive given the great location. The staff were friendly & the service was quick.

Lovely place on the beach. Loved the tunasandwich on homebaked bread with orange juice or soda. Very close to Blife Beach Hostel.
Visited by many locals too for a coffie and snack.

The best place at the beach if you are looking for something relaxed, simple and sweet! The sandwich and tostas are very good and big! Love love love everything!

Beware! Huggggeeee portion of toasted homemade bread, taste very delicious with generous amount of filling for super affordable price. Plus amazing beach view to enjoy from your seat. Top! service is friendly and patient, although could be a bit warmer. Still, a definite recommendation.

A cafe with a view. For me it felt like the Cafe at the edge of the world. You could think, breath and feel alive. I love this place

This cafe might look tiny, but don't be fooled - the food is amazing! I had a massive tuna toastie here that was easily one of the best I've ever had. Seriously, I'll be daydreaming about it when I'm back in Ireland. The drinks were a great price and the service was good. I could have spent all day here drinking and watching the sea. Definitely worth the visit!

The perfect spot for having a drink whilst looking out onto the stunning beach and sea. Very relaxed and food was delicious. So much so we went back again!

This used to be my go to place to have breakfast anytime I stayed on Praia de Faro. The food used to always be really good, but sadly when I returned last week it seems that its possibly new people running the cafe, and their food was terrible. I had a bacon & egg baguette, and it was terrible. It was sitting in a pool of oil and was so oily that it was hard to imagine how and why somebody would of served it. Needless to say we never returned and never will do again.

Great place to have a toast, bifana, coffee, ice cream or even a custard tart. I was allowed to stay for a while while working on my laptop and enjoy the amazing view. Would totally recommend.

and we definitely recommend the chicken garlic sauce tosta or the gin tonic for that matter

There's a perfect little table and seat on the porch facing the sea, where you can come, get the most delicious sandwich, sip wine, beer, orange juice, and stare out at the blue waves. I brought a book to read and spent a good several hours leisuring. The owner was wonderful and friendly and can also speak French, and a little English. I got the chicken sandwich with garlic aioli drizzled on top and I finished the entire thing on my own.
