O Coreto

A lovely place for food and drinks just next to the riverside. We had some traditional sardines to share and had some beer. The prices were OK, the food was locally sourced and freshly made. The wait was not too bad, we had our food after 20 min, but to be honest it was pretty busy as it was Saturday evening and people were going out, so it was packed with people. The staff was nice and friendly and gave us some good recommendations. It’s lovely to go there in evening as you can sip a drink, watch people passing by and have a lovely view on the seaside.

The staff were friendly and bilingual (which is immeasurable relief based upon my poor knowledge of Portuguese). I had a delicious quinoa-based veggie burger on a fresh roll. My better half had a delicious looking veggie omelette (and claimed it was one of the best she’s had). A great experience in Faro.

Isaac and Tiago were great hosts. They welcomed us into the venue and were personable. Isaac recommended foods for us to eat. We had the Paella which was beautifully cooked and served with two king prawns, alongside other seafood such as mussels, clams etc. The restaurant usually has people play music nearby which adds to the ambience. It is beautifully located right on the edge of the marina with indoor and outdoor dining. Food was reasonably priced and with greater quality in comparison to competitors nearby.

Nice place with a good atmosphere right by the harbour. There is life music frequently. The cocktails are great!

A delicious seafood paella with lovely sparkling Sangria. Even had semi-professional musicians set up just along the harbour. Perfect.

Food quality could be better. The grilled salmon was very nicely cooked and tasted nice. The seafood in the seafood linguine didn't taste very fresh. And the crepe was average.
Service from the waiter was excellent.
If the quality of food improves, with its location and facility this restaurant would be one of the best in Faro!

Great restaurant with a lovely view. Tiago was extremely helpful, he made recommendations, always had an eye on our table to ensure we had everything we needed and was very friendly and professional. He ensured we sat in an area we wanted to and was well looked after. The food was tasty and portion size was fair. The price was also good. We had pasta and garlic bread and both enjoyed our meal. Theres seating inside and outside, 100% recommend! Obrigada!

We went here to eat dinner yesterday evening, and everything was great. The food was delicious and not too expensive, the wine was great and the service even better. We had a great server (we think his name was Andre), who made our night. When asking for the cakes they have he took a photo to show us so we wouldn’t have to get up to look. When we went to get a cup of coffee the next morning he recognized us and greeted us nicely. All in all: a great experience and a great recommendation when you are in faro.

We have eaten several times here in our stay, tonight we were served by a great guy called Isaque who looked after us. He spoke good English given he explained he had spent sometime in the UK and was happy to talk with us. Thanks so much for looking after us. We will be back in April!

Beautiful place to eat and drink, very good and friendly waiters, would recommend if you're living in the area or travelling to for holidays.

Wow! What a fantastic eating experience. I ate here with my children for a late lunch and the food was absolutely amazing! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The menu is quite extensive with a large variety of different meals on offer. The drinks menu is fantastic too with a large variety of tasty cocktails on offer too. The food is of great quality and very good value for money. The restaurant is clean and we were very well entertained by the live band that was playing just outside the restaurant. This was my best dining experience whilst on holiday in Portugal and I can not wait to eat here again on my next trip!

Top food. Had the salmon with baked potatoes and it was magnificent, perfectly cooked and amazing taste. Good service and very polite waiters. The music was a bit too wild.

First stop in Faro. The warm seafood paella near the water was a perfect choice. And Tiago was an exceptional server.

Outstanding. My family and I came here twice in a week. First time expectations were low it being right on the waterfront we thought classic tourist trap. We had pizza, salmon, lamb chops, prawns, tuna steak, sardines, desserts from the counter, passion fruit margaritas. Everything was exceptional. Well seasoned, delicately cooked, great portions, reasonable prices, attentive, friendly and fast service. A beautiful setting with the sun going down. Music was also on point- nice Motown selection not too loud. Never write reviews. Couldn't be happier. Thank you Fideles our waiter was very attentive, polite and knowledgeable. Much better than Bar O Castelo Cidade Velha which was crap food and a very long wait.

What can I say. Great bistro in a great location in the marina with a superb drinks and food menu and super friendly attentive staff. Had a 3 night break, visited everyday, sometimes twice. Live music some afternoons too, a bonus. Will defo be back on next trip.
