This is one of few restaurants that impress us. We ordered mixed grilled fish for 2 and it was perfect from the beginning to the end; from the freshness, seasoning, texture, harmony of flavors, etc. all of them are just done very well. The seasoning is pretty simple but it’s just right on the spot, not too much and not too less. And this simple seasoning is able to bring out the flavor of each fish in surprising way. If you get excellent ingredients, you don’t need complex way of cooking them. Tips for extra flavor: eat the fish with the seasoned olive oil, it melts in the mouth with explosion of flavors. Note that the food takes quite a while to cook & you’ll have to wait a bit. But it’s all worth the wait. We would definitely visit this restaurant again. And we highly recommend this restaurant.

Great seafood. I ordered grilled tuna Algarve style, it was super tender and the sauce was amazing. The portion was so big so if you & your partner don’t eat a lot, sharing a main dish and an appetizer would be enough.

Very pleasant atmosphere and even better octopus with cod (it was my first octopus 🐙 in my life, so I will definitely come again). Of course, nice and funny service is also provided . And they have excellent wine here 🍷 and amazing dessert 🧁!!

Delicious restaurant hidden away in Lisbon. Be prepared to wait for queue, but its more than worth it.

Delicious octopus and grilled salmon, accompanied with muralhas (white wine from Portugal) makes a feast to remember. Recommend!

Went for lunch as was close to our hotel. Portions were very large too large if anything. I struggled to finish the food served and it was excellent quality. I had the mirandela sausage which was delicious. Service was also excellent and quick. No issues. Photo of food is what I couldn't eat!

Small local restaurant serving delicious, traditional Portugese food. Price was great and portions are large. We went twice during our stay in Lisbon. They will put down appetizers (which are not complementary) when you sit down but you can just tell them no thank you. They have an English menu (not the most descriptive), but the younger guy who works there was able to explain the difference between some of the dishes & translate the dishes of the day for us as well (as these were not included on the translated menu). We really appreciated his help. Thanks!

Amazing experience. I highly recommend it.
The food was just perfect! Great taste, a huge portion and with diversity. The service is also incredible.
The waitress was polite and informative. She indicated a delicious start and main dish.
The inside and also outside places are clean and with a nice atmosphere.
We ended up here by luck and I am more than happy for that.

Update: came again for the octopus and portugese steak. Octopus was spot on but the steak was not good. Avoid the steak, stick to the seafood! 1st meal in Portugal and this place did not disappoint. Only thing that was sad was we didn't have enough people to try more food
So we will go back again to try the other dishes. The cod in a tile is fantastic. A must try! Check this place out! Worth traveling to. 33 euro for cod on a tile and 0.5L of wine. Worth it!

The grilled octopus was the best meal I’ve had in years. First meal I had in Portugal and recommended to me by the receptionist at my hostel, so glad he did because I can’t stop thinking about it. Also very reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Thanks to the chef for putting such care into the food

Yum, amazing, a must stop for dinner. It’s an unsuspecting place, one that you would miss unless you know about it’s glories or see patrons enjoying massive potions of food. Daily specials for soups and entrees, English menu, French menu, Portuguese menu. Wine can be ordered by the pitcher. Delightful grilled sardines accompanied by roasted potatoes and a large plate of lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, and cabbage. Definitely had order envy when viewing other plates coming from the kitchen.

Great place, food is good. I did have better but it will do and staff is nice.

It is a nice restaurant with decent prices and decent size of food too.

Their wine of house is very tasty, and also quite low priced too.

We had an amazing dinner for two, went without reservations and got a table at 8 pm on a high season Thursday. The service was very helpful and nice and the portions are huge. The menu is a decent sized introduction into Portuguese and Mediterranean kitchen, very much recommended. Got the brandy to make sure we got the taste of the port wine makers, recommended for everyone keen to get to know some local dishes!

Huge portions, fresh food, fast cooking and friendly waiter. Everything was delicious and perfect, would highly recommend lunch or dinner here. The prices are reasonable and you will leave feeling very satisfied. Two happy tourists! Highly recommend eating away from the very touristy parts of Lisbon.

The food in here was amazing, very tasty and well-cooked. It comes in big sizes, so be mindful of that. This is for 2 persons, but it was still too much for us.

Highly recommend this place for dinner or lunch.

Great food, delicious octopus and cabbage, big portions and decent prices. I was full after only one dish. Friendly staff, I got the recommendation of the nice wine. It is crowded place but worth stepping by.
