A Carvoaria

Oh my goodness. After a week of excellent food in Lisbon, I didn’t think it could get better. Then I ate at A Carvoaria. It might be hard to believe, but I had both the best steak I have had in my life (their Wagyu steak) and the best risotto I’ve had in my life (their mushroom risotto).
Everything we had was full of flavor and absolutely delicious.
I skipped the starter plate selection they brought me as it felt a bit unexpected, and I’m glad I did as I wished I had even more room in me to eat more of their steak.

Great restaurant with excellent meats. The waiters are very helpful explaining to us the different cuts and plates. We ordered the shrimp and garlic sauce for appetizer. My husband had the sirloin stake steak and I had the veal and pork skewer. They were delicious! Congratulations to the chef!

High quality meat and can select how much you want (300g, 400g, 500g). We didn't have a booking on a Friday and had a table immediately. High quality restaurant

Very nice dining place with super delicious food. Except the portions are too big XD that almost no space for dessert. Must try their flan (pudding) as the perfect ending.

Superb steaks and side dishes. Everything was delicious and fresh. Service was very good as well. Nice selection of wines.

If you're a meat lover then you must go to this restaurant. You will be satisfied with the price-quality of the food there. The desserts were delicious too!

A perfect date night. Delicious steaks, cooked to perfection with a great variety of accompanying dishes. Helpful and friendly servers who were compassionate to American guests who don’t speak the language. Dessert was so good as well. Best of all, felt like fine dining without being priced as such. Great meal including a drink, appetizers, and dessert for 2 for like 70 euro

Over all 5-star experience the food and the service. We ordered the house special and sirloin steak both were perfect and when ordering the wine the staff took us inside to review the various bottles and recommended the best we had so far in Lisbon! Definitely worth a visit!

Went there with no reservations and they kindly arranged a table for us, we had the cheese and sausage platter for starters and for main the chuck steak 400g medium rare, it was delicious! Staff were friendly and great ambiance, I definitely recommend this place for a nice steak dinner with reasonable prices.

I recently dined at Carvoaria Jacto and had the pleasure of enjoying their fillet steak. It was truly an exquisite culinary experience. It's looks like a small place when you walk by but it has a huge open area at the back. Great service and food. Everything we had was awesome quality and tasted phenomenal. I didn't have wine however, it would seem that they have a huge variety to choose from. Highly recommend.

One of the best grilled meat places I’ve been to. Their chicken Skewer with pineapple is so juicy and tender , so much taste its amazing! Their steaks are made with so much flavour, its great! And they have some great cocktails, the berry sangria is to die for.

Absolutely amazing place. We went there on our last day in Lisbon. It's so worth it ! Fresh and delicious cute of meat. Everything was delicious and for reasonable price. Service amazing, staff very friendly ! Must visit when in Lisbon !

Wow!! Amazing steak place- lots of different raw meats which you can chose from at the counter to have grilled up on the charcoal. Prices are great too. We loved our Wagyu steaks and sides. They didn’t have the normal steak sauces (Portuguese style) but they were flavoursome enough on their own. Fish also available for non-mestres. A good choice of wines too! Service was fast and attentive. Will be back for sure.

It's been a while since I have last seen such good service. Waiters were quick to come and to serve. They serve really good meat, although one of the pieces was a bit rarer than what I'd prefer. The desserts were out of this world. I will certainly return to this place in the future.

Delicious espetadas, both porco preto with bacon and the espetada mirandensa were top notch. Service was fast and friendly. The interior is both simple and beautiful.

Second visit was just as brilliant as the first. Tried the traditional chocolate cake this time which was delectable.

Ordered too much. The skewer of veal and shrimps come with a lot of veal. The veal is charcoal grilled with a tasty rough flavor. If you don’t like the original beef meat taste, you may not like it.. As I also ordered another 300g sirloin steak. Really can’t finish everything with my wife. Should have ordered aged steak or wagyu steak with 200g only.
