Clínica Particular do Algarve - Loulé - Grupo HPA Saúde

I went there today, and everything went well. I don't understand how some people are so upset, so I'll leave my positive review as I believe this clinic deserves a higher rating. From scheduling to the receptionist and everything that came after: everyone was professional and efficient.

I made an appointment to see the general doctor at 16h40. I was still waiting over an hour later at 17h50 before I gave up. Ok, sometimes things happen but the worst was that when I left all the lady at reception said was "Ok". No apology or attempt to explain anything. Not a good look for a business specialising in customer care.

As an update to this, I had a much better experience there today. It seems it was just a bad day. Thanks for improving!

Definitely a good clinic for expats
They have GP, dentists ect...

The reception staff are very polite and helpful. I went for a mammogram and eco scan today . Everything went well until the doctor doing the eco scan didn’t speak a word of English and spent the whole time doing the exam saying if I live in Portugal, I should speak English and if she went to England the doctors wouldn’t speak Portuguese. I didn’t feel confident the exam was being done thoroughly as she was so focused on me not speaking Portuguese. Little did she know I understood what she as saying. When you go Private, you expect more respect. I came away thinking ‘that’s the last time I go there’.

I took my daughter for a spine Xray and they were very unprofessional, laughing and talking so they failed to place the protection well. It fell 2 times and they placed it in my daughter’s lower abdomen with tape!

So unbelievably rude. Most unhelpful place I’ve visited!
