We discovered this little gem in Faro. They have many delicious vegan and vegetarian options. The staff is super friendly and the place is super cute. I highly recommend it!!!

We had an amazing meal here. 3 tapas dishes between 2 people, and a dessert was perfect. Each dish was brought out separately, ensuring we could enjoy the flavours of each one.
The atmosphere was lovely, really homely, and the service was exceptional.

Lovely restaurant with a small kitchen where you can see your food being made while the chef dances. The dishes were interesting, delicious and felt like your grandmas cooking. Price quality was very very good!

Would definitely recommend the spicy fish soup and the mushroom dish in particular

Ohhh wow, can I just say this is my favorite restaurant in Portugal? I have been to Porto, Lisbon but this restaurant is just amazing. We went two days in a row. Great foods, reasonable price and amazing service. We tried the lamp, the pork stew, the fish soup, the tempura beans, the shrimp. Every dish is amazing. Don’t forget to try their chocolate fondant, it’s simply the best!

Absolutely beautiful food! I had some of the vegan tapas and they tasted better than some dishes I had at vegan only places. It was all fresh and so full of flavours! The staff is really really friendly even though it gets quite busy at night. The restaurant itself is very cosy. I absolutely recommend it!

Excellent vibe here. It kind of feels like you are sitting in your grandmothers house in a good way. Food was excellent and the waitstaff was super hospitable. A little off the beaten path but this was a much better experience than Aperitivo. For great food and wonderful people get yourself in this place and let them feed you whatever they want, its all delightful!!!!

I am very lucky to have eaten in some amazing places all over the world, and this is now one of them.
The food is really something special and obviously derives from an over-riding passion for what they do, but it is also delivered by one of the friendliest teams I have had the pleasure to be served by.
Good, very very good does not do it justice and you need to come and experience it for yourself.
It is so good it has left me buzzing as I am walking away.

I am obsessed with this place. Amazing food made with high quality ingredients and inventive flavour combos. Many vegan options. Spicy aubergine is delicious. Loved the pickles and olives in the espresso cup. The whole vibe of this place is impeccable. Significantly better than all the other food I had in Portugal.

An absolute gem in a back alley. The staff were so lovely and accommodated us when they were fully booked. All staff were so friendly. We wanted to come back the next day but unfortunately they were closed, otherwise we would have had spent all our money there! So beautiful. The food was incredible. Loved the overall atmosphere. 10/10

Don't miss this one.

I am vegetarian and it is rare you get good meat and vegetarian options at the same restraunt in Portugal. However this place has such a good range of dishes. Everything we tried tasted great and the staff were really friendly. Also the menu is very good value for money! With dishes around €6 each.

I would recommend booking a little ahead as it can be quite busy.

Found it by walking and deciding to give it a try. I had two dishes, "Mackerel with black eyed peas" and "Aubergine in spicy tomato sauce" and I both liked very much. I also took "Chocolate fondant with banana topping" with a coffee. Prices are reasonable and the service was friendly and fast.

So welcoming and friendly. As a solo diner it was especially lovely to be so welcome.

The Rainha was amazing and I may have been converted to liver by their liver and potatoes. Such a pleasure and I felt like a friend dining her rather than a stranger who didn't speak the language. I would recommend this to my best friends wholeheartedly.

Thank you for the best food I have had in a long time

Warm and friendly. The lace is so nice, decorated vintage-style, and the food is delicious. The waiter helped us to calculate how much do we need to order and it was perfect: small, versitile dishes that come slowly, tastes great and not expensive at all! 10€ p.p with soft drinks. We had a GREAT time and most definitely will want to come back.

Great little place with some unusual traditional dishes. Good simple food, reasonably priced, not what you would find on standard tourist menus. We had black eye bean migas, saltfish acorda and pataniscas made from grass peas. There are plenty of meat & fish options available but I think the food would suit you best if you enjoy eating vegetables and wholefoods - in fact you could have a good feed here if you were veggie/vegan. There was a nice atmosphere, it was pretty busy for the season & the service was friendly and attentive. We had 3 tapas between two people which was a decent meal on its own, but allowed room for an unwise but delicious pudding each before we waddled back to our hotel.

Recommended in a book and rightly so. Tucked away in a quiet street. Just the most delicious, rustic food. Lovely staff too. Well worth a visit.

Our best dinner in Faro.

Fresh, tasty food that really surprised us. We had spicy fish soup, fish, meat and desserts with cocktails.

Service is great, music and decoration too.

Don’t miss
