Chú-Chú

Some of the best food we ate in Lisbon! The service was wonderful and friendly. The place was clean with a nice atmosphere. We had steak and egg and the roasted chicken both were so good we want them again. The desserts were also great, not too sweet but a lovely end to the meal.

Great restaurant and great service! At first, I was a bit hesitant about whether the fish is halal since it was cooked with the chicken, but then they explained me how fish is cooked below, and chicken above, thus halal. I appreciate the staff member explaining quite detailed! Staff members were so nice! The place was cool! Placemats were designed as crosswords, so while waiting for the food, we could have fun!

We were served by Hygor, who was exceptionally attentive and served us with big smile. He made our dinner especially delicious!

Lovely unique grill.

Black pork ribs were absolutely delicious and the plates of grilled chicken huge.

Relaxed atmosphere and accommodating service.

Little bit pricy compared to other places in Lisbon but well worth the money.

Specialised Churrasqueira with no frill delicious food. Good friendly service. Good chicken. Great value. Taste like a good traditional Portuguese grill place. A must try.

We had a lovely dinner here. We thoroughly enjoyed the Portuguese Cod, vino verde and apple pie for dessert. The service was also fantastic. We will go again.

Our visit was excellent. The food (grilled codfish) was delicious, the service very good (english speaking) and wide choice of desserts. Definitely to visit in Lisbon

Amazing Food , octopus and BBQ chicken were amazing!

We had our lunch on Monday 9th of May. The food was very nice and we would like to thank Mario for his polite and friendly service.

Our roasted chicken was excellent! Together with rice in butter, it was a heaven!! A must try if you visit Chú-Chú. Their prawns in garlic was also good. Service was good and fast. They do take away as well and credit cards are excepted.

A religious experience…this chicken will make you believe in something. Mainly that it’s so delicious you’ll forget all your worries like I did. This establishment is a perfect example of chicken on the grill Portuguese style. Giving you a full portion, spicy sauce and tasty chips on the side. I’ll be back.

Everything we tried was delicious! Also, one of the few places around that is open between 4 and 7 pm. The service is most welcoming :) Recommend!

I had lunch there and food was appetizing. Service was great and restaurante had a relax and casual feel to it. The location is just a 5 minute walk from Avenida da Liberdade.

Exactly what you need after a long day walking, a reasonable combination price&quality

Great service and the food was lovely - I had the salmon and bacon skewer. The service was prompt and the wine recommendation was superb. I would recommend unreservedly.

What a great find. They say you should always eat where the locals do, and this place had lots of locals, despite being in a touristy area. The service was quick and friendly. The waiter, who also spoke decently in English, made some great recommendations. The starters were excellent, bit the grilled octopus... I'll be thinking of that grilled whole octopus for a long, long time. It was delicious. Perfectly grilled and tender as can be. Prepared simply with butter with lots of fresh garlic. At the end of the meal I was introduced to Aguardente, which is a Portuguese eau de vie. Highly recommended.
