Dote Cervejaria Moderna

I came to eat here and I was pleasantly surprised that the food was good, desire it being a sports bar kind of place. The octopus I had was very tender and tasted good. The portions were large.

The restaurant is in a really nice street close to pink street and the sea.
A lot of people walk by but it does not disturb.

I had the Francesinha with veal loin and it was extraordinary! It’s hard to describe what is in that sauce, just try it! (5/5 stars)

My girlfriend had the normal burger and also this one was good. The home made mayonnaise was killing it! (4/5 stars)

This place was recommended to us by a Portuguese friend. We ordered Francesinha and white and red sangría. Everything was delicious, I'm happy we tried this place. If you want to try authentic Portuguese food, it's 100% recommended by me.

I recently dined at "Dote Cervejaria Moderna" and had the pleasure of tasting the Francesinha, a traditional dish that pleasantly surprised me and that I recommend to anyone wanting to try an authentic flavor of Lisbon.

The service stood out for its courtesy and speed, making the experience all the more enjoyable. The prices were fair, reflecting the quality of the food and the service provided.

I can confidently say that "Dote Cervejaria Moderna" is a restaurant worth visiting, both for the quality of its dishes and the efficiency of its staff.

We all had Francesinha (4 different types) and they were all excellent! Also the beer and the sangria. Nice music, nice waiters, only a little bit too cold inside.

Excellent spot. We were drawn in by the premier league football on the tv, since the next door British Bar was a little packed and we were craving some food.

The welcome from the staff was fantastic, we sat in a comfortable spot and enjoyed the football, with a nice jug of sangria. The food was generous and of reasonable quality, particularly the picanha steak. The price was also very good.

I would not hesitate to recommend or return.

Our first stop in Lisbon. Had no clue what a Francesinha was but holy smokes was it goddamn delicious. Do yourself a favour and order one of these here. The sauce, which I learned later is made from beer and mustard is one of the greatest things I’ve ever eaten- I wanted to drink the damn thing. Spectacular sandwich, wonderful service, great espresso.

The food and, in particular, the service surpassed expectations. My partner and I were looking for somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere and modest prices to unwind after a long day in Lisbon and Dote fitted the bill perfectly. We were served by a waiter called Marco who was friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. The food (steak sandwiches), whilst presented modestly, was delicious and exceeded appearances. Dote gets all the basics right and the food is great value. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I always go to eat Francesinha every month. They have best francesinha. And i loved the place also…

Ate lunch at Dote today and the food was delicious. I left nothing on my plate. :-). The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was on point. If you are traveling in Portugal and visiting Lisbon, I highly recommend you give it a try.

Stumbled upon this place and what a find! Great beer selection and the food was amazing. Walk past the British pub and come here. Some great traditional Portuguese food too. 5 stars!

Bruno is a very friendly and smiling waiter, has set us up today ! We are not from Lisbon, he attended us in Spanish, but he also knows English! It makes you feel super comfortable and welcoming! Thank you Bruno for the service and for the attention! I liked it a lot, we will come back and recommend it.

I had a beautiful afternoon lunch and dinner time with 2 friends, 1 at lunch a time where we had dinner served by Marci
And Brenda. Whom gave us a beautiful time!! And at dinner we were served by Fred. It was great and we’re definitely coming back! Thank you so much !!!

We wanted to watch the first game of the rugby World Cup but hadn’t booked a table anywhere.
After being turned away from a couple of places, the staff at Dote’s helped us out with a table for food, even though they had a reservation booked for 90 minutes later, on the understanding we would leave when the reservation arrived. It so happened that 2 of the party didn’t attend, so although the restaurant was super busy, they went out of their way to set us up with a 2 person table so we could finishing watching the game.
Both our main meal and desserts were delicious, and amazing value for money.
The staff were so friendly, and we received better service here when it was packed than we’ve had in empty restaurants! A huge 5* from us! Thank you

Francesinha is always my favorite. And they make it right. Fries are top class. Ambience is very nice. Staff is very friendly but they are under staffed. Only 2 waiters who were very busy. So they need to increase staff. Central place at Cais. Easy access.
