Café Paris

Located in the heart of Sintra with great views, this restaurant offers great food and excellent service. I had grilled Sea Bream with baked potatoes and greens while my friend ordered grilled octopus. Wine in the menu, both Portuguese, was also very good. Ricardo R., the waiter was wonderful, very professional, helpful and always checking in on the diners. Overall, having had a long day visiting Sintra’s castles and beautiful gardens, the dinner at this restaurant was a perfect way to end our visit from Lisbon.

We enjoyed our lunch here after going to the national Palace of sintra. I am not sure about the other reviews but our experience was perfect. From the sangria and the risotto's and spaghetti bolognese plus Travesseiro dessert and finished with delicious coffee everything was perfect. I know that reviews can be subjective so all I can say was that we had a perfect experience and the food was delicious. All the seasoning was on point and has challenging as risotto can be it was perfect.

Ricardo Rodriguez was amazing he offered the best service and helped us pick gluten free options. Definitely try this place if you're ever in the neighborhood. Beautiful view.

A delicious toasty in Café Paris. They were huge and such value for money. We also enjoyed a smoothie each which were thick and tasty. The service was polite and cheery.

Ricardo was an amazing waiter, From the time we walked up to the time we left we were treated like royalty! The food came out quickly and was well prepared, everything we tribe was absolutely delicious and they even made recommendations around our very picky eating style and dietary restrictions. There was a big rain storm and downpour while we were there and they accommodated us with a lot of grace and smiles. Ricardo's customer service was unbelievable, he was very patient with us as we decided and debated about what to order, and made sure that we felt special the whole time that we were there. It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it to anyone going to this town to stop here for a coffee or some fish. We really liked the fresh fruit dessert and we recommend dipping it in the chocolate sauce :-)

My name is Tonjua. I had suggested the Sangria de Ginja to be made at Cafe Paris restaurant. They had never made it. It is not on the menu. Luckily for me, they made the cocktail for me. It was FANTASTIC!
They should name the new drink, "Antoinette's Sangria de Ginja!"

There are more cocktails to experiments with Ginja.

Absolutely loved this place. Sat on the terrace here for an afternoon tea after a day long walking around sintra. While we did nit take a meal, the meals that came out looked amazing. Just the crepes we had were a work of art. But the best part was the service. The entire team was great, attentive the whole time we were there.

I know this is in a tourist area, but contrary to other reviewers we had great service. We asked for our party of six to be seated just up on their porch above the cafe seats and they happily obliged. We ordered five cappuccinos, soup, grilled cheese and sweet and savory crêpes. Everything arrived almost as soon as we ordered and all was quite delicious. If you are looking for a place for a quick snack, this was a great place. We would love to come back and share some sangria as we watch the square and the people walking by.

This is very nice and cozy place located right next to Sintra Palace. Food is very fresh and delicious. I do recommend visiting this spot.

Nice restaurant just in front of the Sintra National Palace. Food was good and service was great. The fresh orange juice was huge.

With a bus group - got seated outside overlooking the square. Service was quick and our assorted meals were delicious. Fun spot to observe other tourists. Great location. Very clean and very friendly English speaking staff.

Lovely restaurant with great food!! Good value. We had an appetizer, a main course, drinks, coffee and tarts for dessert.

I read the recommendations below and cannot agree with them. This place is expensive, that's true, but you get great service and quality food in return. We ordered seafood which was great presented and tasted very fresh. The personal was also very friendly and professional. We strongly recommend this restaurant.

Really nice cafè. Decor is fabulous. We stopped for lunch while visiting Sintra. The food was delicious. Chicken caesar salad was one of the nicest ive had. Friendly staff and speedy service. Recommend.

Great place to sit and unwind with some wine and tapas! Centrally located restaurant with amazing views of Sintra National palace and the surrounding areas. Prices are a bit expensive as it is for tourists. Locals do not recommend it. Neat and clean place with a laid back rustic ambience. Helpful and courteous staff.☺👍

Perfect place to eat and drink in Sintra. Seriously consider visiting this bar whether or not you are thirsty or hungry. Great interior, good food and drinks and super nice staff!

Amazing service!!! They’re so sweet and recommended exactly what we love to eat. The wine was the best I’ve had in Portugal. The food was incredibly delicious!!! We had some gnocchi and risotto and the sheep cheese bread & butter spread was so good as well!!! Highly recommend this place!
