A lovely restaurant in Sintra with delicious Portuguese tapas and fish main courses with very attentive staff. Every dish we had was wonderful and full of flavour. We were celebrating a friend’s 80th birthday and the staff were so kind to organise a birthday candle for our friend’s cake.
This restaurant is small and gets busy so it’s worth booking to avoid disappointment ( we tried to go as walk in the night before and it was fully booked).
The highlights were the stuffed mushrooms and cod and chickpea salad, although everything was pretty flawless actually👌🏽

Wasn’t expecting much as the reviews aren’t that great; but turned out a big surprise! Service was great, very nice and friendly; fair price with reasonable portion; the food is fantastic! Every dish we ordered was well presented and very delicious!

As soon as I stepped through the doors of this charming establishment, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Portuguese style tapas. Ordered braised mushrooms, eggs with sausages, grilled pork belly and pork sirloin with basmati rice. Finished everything and price was reasonable too :)

Great little spot! One of the only places in Sintra that was actually serving dinner. (Could have been it was November) Food was amazing, atmosphere was great. Lucky we stumbled upon it and glad we got a seat, there are few tables and a number of people got turned away later in the evening without reservations. Make a reservation if able and enjoy the delicious food and great wine selection!

Very good food and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend. I had the duck and it was one of the best meals I ever had. Also, the apple tart was delicious

Absolutely delicious food. We liked everything from cheeses and olives for starter through soup of the day ending with main courses cod with potatoes and sea food. Everything fresh, top cooked and very nicely served. Thank you for this experience

Must go place in Sintra! Absolutely loved everything we ate and the owner was the sweetest! You can really tell that they just love serving good food to people and can feel the love in every dish. We loved everything we ate but must put a highlight on the excellent desserts. The chocolate cake and strawberries in wine were absolutely to die for! My friend is allergic to nuts and they remade the cake with a different sauce to accommodate her which was much appreciated and something they didn’t have to do! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Sintra and hoping to come back soon 💕 Our love to all the staff and owners for an amazing dinner 😌✨ 10/10 they can feed us forever

Highly recommend if you're in Sintra. Everything was fresh and deliciously flavourful. We had the grilled cheese (literally melty grilled cheese) and ordered bread. Our mains were pork tenderloin, slow cooked black pork with mashed potatoes, steak with the most incredible chips (fluffy AND crispy!), and hake with seafood. Meats were perfectly cooked. The server's suggested wines, both red and white, were spot on. It was a perfect way to end the day in magical Sintra.

Very nice restaurant, don't think be put off by the look of the front door. Food and service is first class. Food is well cooked and presented. We had a series of tapas dishes, all very good.

A very nice cosy restaurant. All meals were very delicious and full of flavour - sausage croquettes are a must! Fried squid ring are a good pick too. Lots of nice options from a main. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return if in Sintra centro again.

Delicious food. Pork tenderloin in a special sauce and Duck Magret, both main course dishes were excellent. We also had Braised Mushrooms in the starter. For dessert, we had ice cream cake.
Every dish tasted delicious.
100% recommended.

We had the black pig pork cheeks with mash, squid & prawns in olive oil, padron peppers and they were all good. But the best thing was the scrambled eggs with Portuguese sausage. Singaporean friends, it tastes like a nicer version of lupcheong that’s fried crisp like pork lard. Must eat. Service is slow but not impolite.

The meal has been the best during our trip to Lisbon/Sintra! We order a shrimp soup, bread basket and grilled pork belly as starters. Soup was flavourful and creamy. Pork belly was crispy yet melts on the tongue.

Then the octopus and grilled squid for the main course - even grilled vegetables on the plate were delicious, just the potatoes were a bit too salty.

We also ordered wine and a dessert - ice cream cake with hot chocolate and almonds. All good too but if I had to spend more money on something, it would be their starters.

We tried the tasting menu for two people with some wine and desserts. Everything was so delicious! The staff greeted us warmly and were so kind to us. We even had a lot of fun discussing with the owner. She's such a nice person!

Do me a favor. Go to this restaurant. After visiting the different monuments and ancient wonders, this is the restaurant to go to in Sintra.

Very nice location, friendly staff, fair price and good food. We have tried pork and turkey with mashed potatoes, very tasty. We strong recommend eating here when in Sintra.

Must go in Sintra, but be sure to make reservations, or you might only get the table after 9pm.

we had a very good time here, Food was all good, but salty to me cause we don't eat salt cooking at home.

we ordered from tapas menu to try as many as we can, 5 dishes, with soup of the day, pork belly, baby pepper, fried squid ring, egg with Portuguese sausage, and chickpea salad. we love these, will come back.

We loved this little restaurant and the food was so good (though next time we would pass on dessert... Their English translation of the dessert was unique). We had the cod with sweet potatoes, spinach, and corn bread, which was different than we expected, but oh so good. We also had the zucchini canoe which was as vegetable-y and cheesy as one could wish.
