We came here on a recommendation from our Duoro Tour guide and it was amazing! Fresh seafood, pasta and other local favorites. Worth the trip out there.

Nice and cosy place, very good rice with the duck and beef. Portions are generous, service is very attentive.

Nice place. People tend to compare with "Los Ibéricos ", in the other side of the river, but the other restaurant is more Spanish "tapas" and less offer. In Avô Arnaldo you have lot of portuguese "petiscos", well prepared and good wines to choose from. You have to park in the roundabout and walk a bit.
Referring to the cost, let your stomach decide...
