Tavi - Confeitaria da Foz

Come here if you're planning to visit Porto's coastline. Very good pastries, and a ridiculously quick team of waitresses. So, in this sense, nothing out of the ordinary for Portugal. However, the setting for what looks like an unassuming cafe? Top marks.

The sliding doors are openable on all sides of the glass structure/extension at the rear. I genuinely had a great rest here; the waves were audible and the sky was reflecting off the chocolate cake glaze. Affordable too.

What a great place; definitely worth the short walk from the town along the coast. There is such a great vibe here, with three different places to sit depending on the weather. Great coffee, and Natas to die for.

Tavi is a charming restaurant in the scenic Foz District, where mouthwatering dishes are served against the backdrop of a stunning location. After a leisurely morning stroll, we returned to find our reserved table ready and waiting. The service was top-notch, and oh, the food! It was a delightful flavours. Admittedly, the price is a tad higher, but considering the breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean and prime location, every euro felt well-spent. Reserve your table ahead of time just in case.

Stunning views over the sea and beach. Good coffee and pastries. Sit on the balcony outside, it’s one of the best spots on Foz.

Fantastic bakery with a killer view of Atlantic ocean. Chocolate merengue, key lime tart, chocolate lava cake (!!!), ultimate chocolate cake and coffee. We should come back for more :) The lava cake had to heated and came last so was the only one to survive long enough to get its picture taken.

We had an excellent breakfast with a seaview. Several sweet stuff that was delicious. Cappuccino coffee and fresh orange juice are available and not pricy

Nice place for coffe/tea and cake. Never seen a place where you can buy extra hot water for your tea. We thought it was a great idea

Amazing Food for Breakfast/Lunch and very friendly staff. Would recommend it to everyone who’s looking for delicious pastries and whole meals. Especially the burger and the chocolate cake tasted amazing! Also the view of the Ozean is phenomenal. We already can’t wait to visit again.

There is no place in Foz like Tavi. I have been coming here for years with family and friends. Every time we are greeted with a high quality menu, sun and seafront views. The service has varied over the years, but they seem to have found their ground. The coffee is simple yet effective (in the most Portuguese way), OJ is fresh, and the pastries are really delicious all the year around - from Christmas sweets down to the ham & cheese croissant.

Excellent café and pastry shop along the coast in Porto. There’s a wide variety of decadent pastries to choose from, and excellent coffee can be had for reasonable prices. The staff were friendly, and the service was warm and attentive.

Go there in the late afternoon for the beautiful sunset! It’s worth noting, though, that the place gets pretty busy around dusk.

My husband and I stopped by for an afternoon café and sweet. The mini chocolate lava cake was good. Not too sweet. The lime cheesecake was my personal favorite. My husband said that the pastel de nata was very tasty as well. Coffee was very strong. The decor is modern and clean. View of the ocean is spectacular.

The place has beautiful view. The cakes and coffee are quite good for the price and location, and the stuff was really helpful and friendly. The view is really good from the place, you can see the sea and beach. We will definitely come back here when we visit Porto again.

Their lime tart was my favorite baked good I have had in Portugal thus far. The view out over the ocean was a wonderful treat to enjoy with our coffees to start the day.

Tasty breakfast, great great view, lovely staff. Would recommend this to anyone visiting porto. It's easy accessible via bus. Would love to come here again

Cakes were incredibly, the salads are nice too. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Very nice pastries, cookies and ice cream. The to go boxes are cute so it’s a nice place to get a little dessert for a dinner party or a small Portuguese specialty as a gift. Outside seating is always very busy so I’ve only ever sat inside. Insider tip: pastries are cheaper if you get them “to go”.

Loved the desserts and coffee at this amazing little place with a water view. The staff were extremely friendly and the environment was very cozy yet elegant. Will be back!

Great breakfast with fantastic view…shrimp and asparagus omelette was tasty (watch out for lots of French fries)!

A delicious lunch for 4 close to the ocean. Great desserts from the bakery too.
