Monte Selvagem Reserva Animal

Had so much fun! It was a hot summer day! Lots of water around the park and shades. You can bring your food and have a family picnic. Diversity of animals to see and the trampoline was great fun!

Worth the money

Top open zoo. Focused on animal welfare and with plenty of attractions to keep you entertained for a whole afternoon. You can eat inside, there are numerous places for you to sit and have some lunch, also plenty of restrooms as well as places for kids to have fun within the park and very eco friendly. It bested my expectations, had a wonderful afternoon in family, my kid loved it. Absolutely recommended.

Amazing experience. It took us 3 hours to see everything (couple without kids) but we could have spend more time doing activities if we took children. It was a hot day and the sprinkles positioned around the park helped tremendously with the heat. Staff was nice and everyone was protected as they should. Loved it.

This place is amazing! A small and very well kept zoo, where you can see a lot of animals, including some exotic species.

You can tell animals are very well taken care of here, and although it made it harder to spot them, we loved that the large animals had several hectares of land to roam freely.

The space is very children oriented, and has a lot of playgrounds (slides, zip lines, giant trampoline) to keep the little ones occupied.

Went there as a day out with the kids and it was brilliant. The setup is well thought with a mixture of zoo and safari, plenty of different species and loads of different games and activities for kids. Definitely worth a visit and the prices are really great for what you get. You can take your own picnic or they do have food on site. Plenty of toilets and parking and if you have a little one it's easy to take your pram or stroller around.

A beautiful park with plenty to see. The animals all seem really happy and the habitats are well taken care of. The kids also seem to love the farm animals that you can pet and feed.

Wonderful place to take the kids! All the park is very well taken care of, as are the animals (at least they do appear so). There are quite a few places for bird watching, but it will largely depend on your luck - I wasn't able to photo any of the species depicted.

We had a great day here with our family. Kids loved all the play equipment throughout. I loved the animals!

The place is gorgeous and so focused on every little detail for a magical experience!!
The wildlife so respected, slides, zip lines, tree houses, a huge trampoline, a maze, picnic areas, shade and water sprinklers. Even the restrooms are so cute and ambiance respectful! There is some kind of poetic and thoughtful energy everywhere. We couldn’t have imagined anything better for that big day adventure!!
We were 2 couples with 4 kids aged 2 to 7 and everyone had a fabulous day! 🙏

Wonderfull place to have an amazing day while interacting with animals and connecting to nature.

An animal sanctuary lost in the middle of Alentejo. Well preserved, with decent variety of species and a large area for kids to play in. There’s also a snack bar with the bare necessities. They have these sprinklers throughout the park you can use to refresh yourself, which are perfect for those hot summer days. The staff was very nice, we even managed to see them feed several of the animals. All in all, good for 3 to 4 hours. If you have kids, you can easily spend the entire day here.
