Camping Monte Gordo

Large sprawling campsite with light shade from tall trees. Plenty of space, facilities old but perfectly adequate and squeaky clean! Large shop hidden away behind tower. Opposite lovely beach and close to town. Level cycle/walking both directions. Cafe. Security v tight - you need your card on you!!

Very busy campsite but with a lot of space for everyone. Right amongst pine trees, in pine forest, thus quite a lot of shade if required. Plenty of toilets, showers, and other washing facilities. An enormously long, sandy beach just across the road. Very good value for money. After leaving this campsite I travelled through Spain and stayed at other campsites. I honestly have to say that none compared to Monte Gordo. Spanish campsites are terribly small, squashing everyone in so close to each other that it is impossible to swing the cat around there. The service leaves much to be desired. Also Spanish beaches down south are dirty, have grey sand and altogether are not looked after well. Monte Gordo wins hands down. Highly recommended.

Large campsite with many utilities. I.e. free showers, toilets, sinks to wash clothes and dishes etc. The campsite is based on sand dunes and under some trees but has WiFi and is a stone throw from the beach. Local shops provide everything from fresh meat and bread, spices and a happy welcome every time. Great for cyclists as has cycle paths. Will definitely go back and recommend 😊

One of my favorites spots to go camping in Portugal. Very calm and quiet at this time of the year. The sun is out and the beach is beautiful.

Great site.Shower and wash block old but very clean. Proper camping. Tents, camping cars and carvans all over the place.Make sure you have a long lead if you want elec.Staff and campers a very happy bunch.2min walk to the sea and town with good supermarkets .Bars shops and a Chinese shop with everything from shoes/clothing.Elec./water fittings.Mops buckets. Pots pans .Cleaning items. Wool and floor covers.Toilet seats and tools ect.ect.

life is fun, the beach is walking distance and enchanting ... you would need a car for shopping, best across the border in Ayamonte, Spain.

Near the beach. I transit only with car. But Is very good to see and near One of the best beach in Portugal.

Monte Gordo is very nice place!

A complete mess, but close to ocean. Nice people.

Green, clean and big place for camping lovers

Foi pena o S.Pedro não estar do nosso lado e brindou-nos com uma tarde/noite com chuva, mas isso não é da responsabilidade do Parque!
É um fim de semana diferente e que recomendo!

Een leuke, ontspannen camping op de heuvels en tussen de bomen in. Sanitair is erg oud, maar het wordt wel goed schoongehouden. Camping ligt tegen het plaatsje Monte Gordo aan wat erg toeristisch is. Dicht bij het strand. Goedkope camping (€ 13,00). Goede uitvalbasis om andere plaatsen te ontdekken met de bus of trein.

Viajar sem planos, foram 10 dias neste parque, alterei a data do check-out por 2 vezes.
Instalações Sanitárias e Limpeza ficam um pouco a desejar, mas esta ultima muito por culpa de alguns utilizadores.
Um sentimento de tranquilidade e paz onde parece que o tempo pára.
VIZINHOS TOP, Staff e Proprietários/Empregados dos estabelecimentos inseridos no parque 5 *****. OBRIGADO GABRIEL😀
Excelente ponto de partida para novas aventuras, estação de comboios tão longe quanto uma caminhada de 25min +-2km "Olhão e Tavira " foram destinos sobre os carris...
Vila Real de Santo António 4km de caminhada "8km ir e voltar", é só seguir a ciclovia que se inicia mesmo á entrada do parque, apanhando o barquinho damos um saltinho até Espanha "Ayamonte".

Bela experiência acessos a parque natureza, pedonismo pistas, ciclo via até VR Santo António e agora tb Castro Marim e 🏖praia😎 ...o q precisam mais Triatlo de Verão em família espetacular!!! Gente simpática e educada num ambiente tranquilo ...Excelente condições veraniantes!!! Top1 Parabéns
