This place is a hidden Gem!
First we thought we would kinda feel awkward in here, since we came after hike in our hiking outfits, but the waiters were so kind and made us feel so welcomed that we immediately felt comfortable!

Our waiter took the time to bring us an english menu card plus explained and answered our questions about certain foods we didn’t know of.
Everything tasted of high quality and very delicious!

We have enjoyed our lunch very much here. The roast veal with onions, peppers, carrots, cabbages, and potatoes are extrordinary delicious. The owner let us try his home made honey wine, which is unbelievably superb. The dessert, Super Walkways (ice cream topping on apple pie custard with cinnamon and a spring roll like dessert with yellow sweet stuffing), is the number 1 dessert we have ever had so far in Europe. If you have come to Arouca Portugual, you must stop by here to dine. The owner is really passionate and enthusiastic!

I visited the establishment right when it opened at 7:00 PM. The place filled up rapidly, a promising start. Our party of three decided on the premium meat selection, while one of us chose the spaghetti Bolognese. Every dish was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

Incredible meal and service! Hands down this is an incredible place to eat. I had the veal steak (which came with chips/fries, and smokehouse rice), my partner had the tuna salad. Both were incredible. For drinks we had wine and sangria (again, both were top notch). The brownie was a fantastic finisher. We will be back.

Brilliant meal. “Heaven on a plate”. Exquisite service and exceptional dinner. We cannot ask for more. You must order the apple pie dessert or there is no point in living. It is the best thing you shall ever eat.

Excellent food very large portions. The meat is very good quality. On special occasion they cook zebra 🦓 meat - the day we went " meat of the day" was python - last year they cooked some great elephant and crocodile meat for Christmas. They have a very large oven where they can cook a whole elephant. Sometimes they bbq ostrich but it tastes like turkey. I trapped some wild boars which they gladly skinned and cooked for

We are here for my wife’s birthday! Fabulous meal, attentive service, great advice and the icing on the cake (or apple crumble in truth) was a birthday candle on her dessert!!

The meats are high quality, I think veal must be their speciality as a lot of people around us had it!

Amazing! I highly recommend it. We had the vitela assada, the lombinhos and the apple crumble, all wonderful choices. It’s a place for meat, as it is the star of the region.

Divine desserts.

Wonderfull place to dine in Arouca. Very tasty food, and the waiters are really nice and friendly. They are really willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience.
The restaurant is also classy and inviting.
We came by the restaurant by chance, but came again the next day.

Good food , good service, reasonable prices , nice staff especially RUI , who spoke english and also super nice and helpful, recommended 🙌🏽
