Delicious food and super nice service. Generous amounts of food. We’re lucky enough to get a table on a Saturdays night without reservation but I would recommend to book it before you go. Very cozy place, nice atmosphere.

We loved this place! We stopped here on our way through town and felt really lucky we stumbled into this place. We loved sitting outside and enjoying the surroundings. The wait staff was excellent and the food was delicious. We enjoyed everything we ordered, including the vegetable soup and the salad. Our main course was the Grilled Cod and it did not disappoint. Excellent experience, best food we've had so far in Portugal!

Amazing food and wine. We had the house special "Vitela assada" and it was lovely! They had a variety of desserts to choose from. You cannot go wrong with these either as they were awesome.
Prices were reasonable and not expensive. Lovely staff and place.

We went to visit the passadiços do Paiva and had dinner in Arouca, we were recommended to go to parlamento and oh boy we were not disappointed! The staff was super nice and the food was excellent, obviously being the north of Portugal we got two portions for 4 people and it was enough for two dinners... Literally because we took the leftovers 🙂 the octopus panados are a thing of culinary beauty! Here's some photos of the passadiços so you can have an excuse to go eat there!

The quality of the food is extremely good. One dose is almost good for two people. The steak is cooked perfect! And the veal in the oven melts in your mouth. The tomato rice was the best I ever eaten in all my life!

Easy communication, very gentle and nice staff, simple and extremely tasteful dishes. We had 1/2 portions each and it was still double what we were able to eat, a chilled evening.

Can't go wrong with Parlamento. Each serving is enough for two, if not three in some dishes (Vitela). Everything is great, from food to drinks to desserts.
