Number one trail in Portugal and probably in the world as it's a global winner for a lot years. Better start from up and go down to Espiunca, because upstairs it's harder.
Not busy during off season. No restrooms during trail, couple small beaches during walk, few panorama stops, SOS phones periodically.

Passadiços do Pica; Started in Espiunca where there is enough (free) parking space and toilets. Then started the route with our online tickets 2€ per person only available with credit card. You can also buy them at the start but then the price is 4€. The route was very straight forward, half way there is a bar/cafe @4km also there are toiletd. Last part has a lot of stairs thats why we started in Espiunca to have an easier way back. On both sides there are cabs/jeeps available for +-16€ they will bring you back to the starting point, we walked back, pretty easy when you are a normal hiker. Took us 3 hours in total.

Enjoyable walk and reasonably priced. Recommend booking online to get half price tickets. We parked at the Espiunca end and there was plenty of free parking a 2 minute walk away from the start of the walk.

There is a rest point roughly half way through the walk with toilet facilities and there were taxis waiting at both ends if you didn't want to walk back.

I have visited this place 4 times in total, and every time I enjoyed.
Difficulty level: moderate to hard
Length: 8.5 km
Parking: yes and free
Entrance: yes, depends on time of year. Buy online to pay less.
Normal start to start time: at least 4 hours
Dog friendly: no please,
Swimming facilities: hmmm, no facilities but possible in the river
Coffee: one in the middle and two on both ends
PAY attention to dehydration on sunny days
Pay attention on ho

It’s a wonderful hiking trail 3 miles long. It goes along the river and high hills. You enjoy the spectacular views and nature. It’s possible in some places to go down to the river. You can meet the goats herded by dogs. There are beaches in the beginning and end of a trail. It’s better to take enough water with you. You will find a stairs with many steps. There is a taxi service in the end of the trail, so for 15€ per car you can come back to the beginning of the trail.

A fabulous walk with a beautiful but practically inaccessible bridge at the end, which costs 12 euros to cross, goes nowhere and tickets can only be bought online. The walk is fabulous though. Take water with you and food if you do the return trip though there is a nice cafe at the downstream end

Great trail and day out, book online to get the tickets half the price of paying on the day. Good facilities at the start, middle and end of the trail, options to get a taxi back to the start if you don't fancy the return trip.

Very good hiking trail that runs parallel to the river and through which you can experience nature well. There is an emergency telephone at regular intervals, and there is a snack bar with a toilet halfway along the route. The ascent to the longest suspension bridge in the world is real work, otherwise the trail can be walked very well if you are not in a miserable condition. The ticket to the suspension bridge costs 12€ and it is strongly recommended to buy this ticket in advance on the internet. We were unlucky and the tickets sold out once we reached the bridge.

You need to do this at least once in your life. Breathtaking views and wonderful sorrounding nature. You can make a few stops along the way for a swin and recharge energies. The trail is physically demanding but double for a normal healthy person. If yiu have kids, start in Areinho which at the beginning has a very hard climb but the rest of the way is a walk in the park.

If you enjoy a hike, in amazing surroundings, then this is for you. Its.basically an 8k boardwalk but needs to be seen to be believed. If I lived here, I would do this every week.

Well, this is one to repeat soon.
There is a lot to enjoy and I only go through half the course, In part because of a "wardrobe malfunction" (my sneakers were destroyed - make sure yours are in good working conditions as the course can be rough at times). There aren't many support areas so, be sure to bring plenty water, food and go to the bathroom before starting.
Plan your course ahead as you may want to park in one end and take a cab and start at other - the course is around 8.5km/2:30min for each side.
There are plenty of shade (depending time of day/year, I guess), but take into account your heat endurance!

nice scenic walk on wooden pedestrian bridges. Not for free and the big rope bridge costs extra and you need a guide.

Beautiful nature, about 8 km long trail. If you start your trail at Espiunca, you finish it in Areinho, where is the 516 meters long bridge.

Beautiful hiking area where you walk on wood walkways!
Bring enough water when you are walking in the heat!

A great place to visit, a beautiful wooden path which is clean tidy and well maintained. The path follows the river and is not too difficult for most people and the views are great. I've been a few times already.

Great walk, but starting from this side it is more hard than starting from the Areinho side because you have to climb a lot of stairs at the end. Beautiful environment.

A decent trail in some stunning scenery.
Some sections would be fairly taxing if you aren't fit or have health issues.
If you do visit, please, please take your rubbish home!

Probably the best attraction in nature around Porto. Surprisingly not so crowded yet. Probably the reason is you need a car to reach it (1.5h drive from Porto)
