Excellent service, the service by Vitor was very attentive and very friendly. Delicious meal with large portion sizes. Fully satisfied would highly recommend.

The restaurant is very cozy and very familiar.
The dishes are the authentic Portuguese comfort food.
It’s easy to park your vehicle near of the restaurant.

There were four of us and we ordered posta, bacalhau and polvo. Everything was delicious. Service in general impeccable (Sergio served us but the other waiters also very attentive). A great find in Arouca!

Nice, atmospheric restaurant with a modern, cosy interior. Friendly staff. Very tasty octopus, in fact a huge portion. Wide choice of wines. Overall a good place to go for a decent dinner, reservation recommended as it's a rather small place.

I had dinner there as a group of 2 people on a Monday. We managed to have a table without reservation but it was a close call. We ordered filet mignon and octopus "à lagareiro" as the main course and an "alheira" for starters. The food was amazing and the portions were quite big. We had chocolate cake for desert and ended up paying 41€ +-. The staff was always helpful and nice. Recommended!

Unbelievable experience! The decoration is efficient, but sophisticated. I just loved the upholstered booth seating.
The staff was extremely pleasant and caring. We asked if the kitchen would be open before making a late reservation - to our greatest amusement, it was - obviously management and staff do the extra mile to please their guests.

The wine selection is very good.

And of course the food was top notch. The highlight? As a true lover of Abade De Priscos pudding I can say that it is the best I have ever savoured.

Wow! What a great find. This is a nice little restaurant tucked away in Arouca. Nice views out over the valley. Food was really fantastic. We found the value for money to be really good.

The food was excellent. We were a group of 9 people that arrived at about 2:30 in the afternoon after calling the restaurant and making sure it would be ok. We had to wait a while until our table was ready but after that it was smooth sailing. The food arrived quickly and it was really delicious. The dessert with the assorted sweets from the region was indiscribably good. We were very well taken care of by a good humored waiter that made us feel right at home.

The meat was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Picanha and the Posta and both of the dishes were excellent. Especially in the Picanha, where they don't just giv you the meat, they come and serve you as it is being prepared.
The staff were friendly, helpful and you could feel how welcoming this place is by their good mood.
The prices are very reasonable and if you compare value for money, than you just feel like this is the cheapest place in the area!
