Lovely family run authentic Portuguese restaurant. Food and service was amazing & reasonably priced too. The best meal we have had all week. The monkfish was delicious.

Family-owned restaurant, friendly hosts happy to give info on the wines and describe the dishes, excellent food. I had the monkfish cataplana and it was delicious!

Where do I begin?! Everything about this place is magical. Whether you eat outside surrounded by the beautiful greenery and lights or inside which is so cozy an warm. A feeling of home. It’s amazing. The food is fresh and delicious. It’s a great family owned and run place.

Having read reviews and staying locally we decided to try Cocheira. Friendly welcome and lovely food and drink. The only negative was the waitress, who was very miserable.

Cozy family run restaurant. We had garlic prawns as starter and the sea bass (fish of the day) and lamb as main dish. It was extremely tasty and the service was nice. They recommended a wine that complimented the sea bass. The deserts were also great. All in all high quality and good value.

No complaints at all, we would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Very nice family-owned restaurant. I went with a group of friends, we tried different dishes and everything was delicious. The staff/owners were very polite and managed to accommodate us in English. Their wine selection is impressive.

I really did enjoy having dinner here! It was really delicious and high quality. At the end we were surprised with shots on the house. We had a good time and I absolutely recommend this place !

Ever time I come to Portugal I pop into Sam for some amazing food tonight was just as good as always we had sea bass and tuna belly. The staff were so good with children. Just always amazing. 100% recommended

A lovely find in Albufeira. Service is excellent and the place has a lovely atmosphere, despite not being far from the road. The courtyard garden is a nice place to eat. The food is lovely and fresh. We really enjoyed the tuna and the cod fish (though make sure to pick out the bones!). The Portuguese-style bruschetta was absolutely yummy as a starter. Fantastic wine too. This place is a real hidden gem.

Such a great place. Family owned and such great food and service. Wines are awesome with excellent recommendations for food pairings!

This restaurant was the best restaurant we ate out of when we stayed in Albufeira Portugal for 10 days, the food was absolutely lovely, the restaurant is very clean big and nice, The staff are friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, I would recommend visiting this restaurant while in albufeira Portugal

Excellent place for a great meal, wonderful atmosphere. Service is great. Good choice on menu. Gets busy in the evenings, so best to book.

Had a great dinner here. The lamb in red whine sauce was absolutely fabulous!

Went there 15 years ago and walked out because it was grubby , but what a transformation now , lots of outside seating and very presentable inside hard chairs but cushions were supplied when requested.
The food was excellent, as it was typical Pt I asked for steak ,Portuguese style but it wasn’t on the wmenu the wonderful
waitress explained that you had to pick your steak and you then hade a choice of sauces , really should be listed as steak Pt style , had the fillet it was the best ever wife enjoyed her omelette ,will definitely be returning
