I would give more stars if was possible.
In a city where the food price is an absurd this restaurant is a real find.
The place is charming and the waitress was very nice and suggested me to try the Rodrigo dessert when I asked if they had Pastel de Nata, it was a great surprise to try something new.
The mussels were amazing and I wanted to try the mini squids, this is a well served plate with a good quantity of food.
I was happy with my choice and I would immensely recommend this restaurant.

This place was so incredible my friend and I went back twice during our stay in faro. Ana was absolutely lovely and recommended dishes as well as places to check out in Faro. We ordered the cuttlefish calamari, the fried shrimp witu garlic (recommended by the staff), as well as pica pau a cruzeiro and started with a lettuce and tomato salad. It was all delicious and flavourful and I would 110% recommend this place for tapas. We came back a second time to have the cataplana (it did not disappoint) as well as the anchovies on garlic toast. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!

This quaint little restaurant was our best find in Faro. Don't get me wrong, Faro is a beautiful place with lots to see and do but this restaurant captured us the first night and we ate there every night whilst in Faro ... that's just how great the food was.

Tasquinha Cruzeiro "Yellow House" sits back from a main street in a small square, quiet, cute and unobtrusive. It would be easy to miss or overlook and that would be a huge mistake.

Maria, the owner, and her staff serve authentic Portuguese fare at very reasonable prices. While we couldn't try everything on the menu in three nights we can certainly recommend the veal in port, the garlic prawns, the vegetable soup (gazpacho) ... each of them is a prize winning dish.

Maria and her staff make you feel like part of the family. Everyone works to make your experience special and worth remembering. Each of them comes to make sure you are enjoying the atmosphere and the meal ... even the kitchen staff come out to see that you're happy. We ate on the early side so didn't need a reservation but if you're planning to eat later, you ought to make a reservation.

This is a very special restaurant that we highly recommend. Don't miss your opportunity to enjoy authentic Portuguese cuisine, a quaint atmosphere and staff that make you feel like family and at home.

Small, family owned restaurant with an incredibly delicious and authentic food. We ordered Cataplana and the amount and variety of seafood was really plentiful. On top of that the dish was tasty and really well seasoned! Highly recommended!

Great food and great experience.
We had the Portugese grilled sausage as a starter and we were really impressed woth the presentation. Also had lots of calamari and baby squid and sirloin steak. The steak could be improved, but everything else, highly recommend!

Price should be unbeatable.

Around 12 to 15 per dish and a humbpe selection of wines ranging from 13 to 18 euros.

Everything is done with care and fresh.

The best cod fish and cuttlefish calamari, together with a solid EA wine bottle. Recommend 100% this cozy and traditional restaurant. The chocolate mousse os divine. Extremely welcoming and the owner is very kind and caring of your experience. A must stop while on Faro

We had the fried shrimps, traditional scramble eggs and chicken. Also tried the green wine. They are all very good with reasonable prize. The staffs are very nice and welcoming. Really enjoyed our meal there.

This is one of my absolutely favorite places in Faro(!) This simple place - so full of history and atmosphere, that you can cut out a piece of it and take home. So sad that the former owner, the great personality Antonio died. But thank God - his sister took over the place, that was and is more a home than a restaurant for me and for so many others. From not only Norway, but from all over the world. I come back here every year.

Great place, a little hidden gem that surprised me.

The wine, the pork with clams the dessert 💜 happy I ended up here to wrap up my Portuguese trip.

Stopped by for a drink on the way home, decided to have a couple of tapas , the food was superb and the place has a great atmosphere with attentive friendly staff. Highly recommend. P s no photos as we'd eaten the food 😂

Good food, delicious. Chicken with clams was very tasty with a fantastic sauce, a bit less oil would be appreciated. Calamari and goat cheese were fabulous alon with garlic carrots. Friendly service, a nice family, good atmosphere with soft music. Definitely recommend.

Found this place accidentally and so happy we did. I had the big shrimps and it was delicious. From the potatoes to sangria to fresh shrimp I was very pleased. My friends had the fish of the day and they loved it too. Also, dishes under 10€! Would definitely recommend!!

A nice restaurant with good atmosphere and fast service. The prices are good too.

Massive portions and the price is a fraction of the value. Mira is the friendliest most bubbly person and she makes you feel part of the family straight away.

The experience was a true highlight of our trip.Thanks for the amazing time!

Really nice place which opens on evenings (honestly almost impossible to find when closed). Cosy atmosphere to sit in or outside. Reasonable prices and very tasty food. Includes meat dishes, starters, and also fishes. Fresh grilled fish (Dourada) was fabulous for 9,5€ incl. some side dishes, also Gazpacho soup is great and Bacalhau a Bras with salad was very good. Fish and the B. a Bras you can see on photo. Great housewine for 2; 3,5 and 6,5€ for glass, 0,5l and 1l covers not only white and red, but also you can order house Vinho Verde. Strongly recommend this place. We were there twice during our short stay in Faro

The Sea bass was delicious and the price (10€) is great for this huge portion. Great waitress and cute, cozy location. 100% recommendation!
