Fantastic experience on one of their longer rides. Horses appeared well cared for. I rode “Count” - a lovely forward thinking bay pony perfect for the occasion. It was high tide so not great for cantering on the beach, though the beach was beautiful and still fun to splash through the water. We enjoyed cantering in the grassy areas afterwards, picking logs to pop over, and got a bit of gallop in at the end over a straight stretch . I rode with Daniel (guide) and 2 working students, all very friendly and fun to ride with. Happy to report this was not a “nose to tail” ride, and I was allowed to lead the way along the beach which I thoroughly enjoyed. For reference I’m an amateur eventer and so considered “advanced/experienced” for recreational trail rides. I would recommend this ride to any of my horse friends.

Riding with Bev is an absolute must through pinetree forest, high classy villages ending at the endless beauty beach in Algarve‘s Triangle. Great horses - very entertaining learning of culture and surrounding

Visited Pinetrees with our daughter whilst on holiday. She had a half our lesson and then a hack through the woodland. The instructor was excellent, and the horses well cared for. They provided all the kit as we didn't bring ours. Highly recommended 👌

I had the good fortune to spend a month riding and working with horses at Pinetrees Riding Centre. Bev primarily teaches beginners and intermediate riders, but when I arrived she had an Andalusian mare that needed some work. Between my lessons and my daily visits where Electra and I worked on the ground, I had an incredibly satisfying month. The stable is immaculate, the horses well behaved, the instruction outstanding, and the overall feeling of the stable is one of a family. Less than two weeks gone and I miss them dearly. But next year I plan to return to Quarteira for two months and hope either Electra or another wonderful horse like her will be available for me to ride on a regular basis..

We had a great riding experience with Bev. At first we got used to the horses on the riding area. It was absolutely no problem that me and my husband were not at the same level, actually it was his first time riding a horse.
After doing some basics on the riding area we did a tour around the pinetrees. Bev explained some interesting information about the pines and other plants growing there (big rosemary bush, thyme and oleander). We would highly recommend this place for a riding trip! Excellent instructor and stuff as well.

Just back from the Algarve where I enjoyed five wonderful hacks out with Pinetrees Riding Centre. Superb horses, friendly and safety conscious staff, and lovely countryside. What more could you want!

Bev the owner was very accommodating on this 2hr ride around the sand dunes. We left at 8am to avoid the heat and had a leasurely stroll with a bit of cantering / trotting ,viewing plants , the beach & the interesting villas along the way. Horses were steady, and all in English tack. . The ride suited me fine as I was at the end of a very sporty holiday. So the gentle pace was wonderful. Thank to all the staff too.

Fantastic trek out to the small canyon. The staff are really helpful and friendly and made it a great experience. The horses are calm and responsive. A brilliant way to see the Algarve in a different way.

Massive thanks to Bev and team for a brilliant week of riding classes and a couple of ride outs for my ‘girls’! Well explained lesson plans and graduated program at a pace that allows for building confidence and skills = enjoying every moment. Real care taken for safety and well groomed horses and ponies. Special mention to Tarzan (retriever)! We’ll be back again as soon as we can.

Pinetrees Riding Centre it’s a calm area where you can ride a horse with a specialized assistant. Bev & the staff are doing an amazing job by acomodating all the needs for children and adults for an unforgettable experience with the horses interaction.

Lovely ride out today with Beverley.
The yard is spick and span, the horses lovely and Beverley the owner is welcoming and caring, both for her horses and her clients. I felt I was in safe hands and enjoyed myself thoroughly. A great experience. Thanks.

Today we had an hours hack out with Bev, my wife is a experienced rider and I am somewhat of a novice haha. There was no need for any gear they supply everything, I turned from tourist to John Wayne haha.

Talking to Bev straight away I realised this was a very safety conscious riding centre as everytime we travel we end up going for a hours hack somewhere, and most of the places are happy to stick myself on any horse which would be out of my skill set.
Amazing hour and very helpful friendly staff think I enjoyed it more than the golf.

Thanks Bev we are off to the beach now thanks to you recommendations hope to return again.
Kind regards
Nick (Greg) and Jo
