If you're looking for an amazing meal at a great price you'll love Solar Da Praia! I'm traveling the Camino de Santiago and Fernando has a great pilgrim menu. Even if you're passing through here is worth a stop. The normal menu looks amazing too.
We arrived to a busy lunch rush and were quickly seated. Even though the restaurant was hoppin Fernando took time to say hello and ask how we are doing. He's full of great information about the area and what to do.
The fish was soooo good! Made me want to order 2 of them for myself. The serving was so big that no way I could have eaten more.
Fernando said he and his wife had taken over the restaurant since January 2023. So I suggest if you read any negative reviews before January 2023 ignore them. He's running a top notch restaurant serving high quality delicious food at a very reasonable price.
Pilgrims don't miss out on the pilgrim's menu you will not be disappointed!!!

atmosphere, service, food... everything is perfect! Fresh fish, one of the best I've eaten...dessert fantastic! Visiting the restaurant is one of the most pleasant surprises since arriving in Portugal! All recommendations and respect for Fernando and his team!

Greeted with a very warm welcome from Fernando and treated to an exceptional Pilgrim's menu at a great price. Perfect lunch after a long morning's walk on the Camino. Seems to be very popular with locals as well. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through Apulia.

Owner manages the albergue (which is super cute) as well, so I enjoyed the food in this nearby restaurant.

Perfect choice for a pilgrim lunch - the best dourada I have ever had in my life in delicious garlic souce with tasty potatoes! Soup, bread, olives and drink included. Thank you so much ❤

sometimes along the Camino you encounter little gems and this restaurant is one of them. after a really tough walk i went here and boy was i met with the best of the best in Portugese hospitality!
The pilgrim menu was exactly what i needed, the wine was a welcome anaesthetic!
The staff were friendly, and really efficient, the fish was so fresh, as were the fried potatoes.
the little touches make all the difference and there were plenty here.
Highly highly recommend😃 from some camino guides that say Apulia has nothing but accommodation i disagree, a really friendly town with this jewel of a restaurant for all pilgrims.

De passage au Portugal, nous avions envie de spécialité local et nous les avons trouvé ! De la morue, du poulpe, des fruits de mer, le tout bien préparé, dans de très généreuse quantité. Service impeccable et rapide.

Cocina espectacular, trato muy, muy agradable. La espeta de calamar y gamba y El pulpo a la brasa de lo mejorcito que he comido en Portugal.

Não é a primeira vez que como neste restaurante e com prazer volto sempre à primeira oportunidade. Comida bem feita, bacalhau fresco e atendimento gentil. Preços onestos. A espera é justificada pelo fato que tudo é preparado na hora. Obg e até já!

En plus le gérant m'a aidé a trouvé une chambre et m'a fait découvrir les gérants du Guest Housse. Pareil des gens gentils et serviables.
