Hotel Axis Vermar Conference & Beach Hotel

Excellent hotel for your family. Specious rooms, with a lot of wardrobes, lovely balconies, high quality windows and amazing ocean views. I strongly recommend it. The food is very well cooked and delicious. We had breakfast and dinner and the kids loved it. The pancake was missing but there was a variety of local pastry food. In the evening the lobby bar is turned into a disco. Well done to the management.

Aside from my disappointment of getting a 2nd floor room out of 12 stories, the room was beautiful with a nice balcony and sea view. Staff was helpful and the breakfast was fine.

The hotel is brilliant. Direct access to the sea and a fantastic pool makes it very nice. Food is ok not the best for Porto but the drinks are really good. The internal bar in the hotel offers you a great Gin Tonic or fresh beer. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. A great place to relax and get the stress blown away by the fresh breeze of the sea.

We spent about 2 weeks in Póvoa de Varzim at the Axis Vermar. Great town and beach, fantastic hotel, very nice, obliging, and comptent staff.....

For a great hotel next to the beach (a 3 minute walk) plus great customer service, you want to stay here if you're visiting Porto. It was our 6th year wedding anniversary and we were pampered. Great for couples, families or groups. We'll certainly visit again.

The hotel is very good, has comfort in the rooms, cleanliness.
It has a very good indoor and outdoor swimming pool, gym for those who like to do some exercise.
Breakfast is what I like most, quite varied.
What's best about the hotel is its location, right in front of the beach and very close to restaurants

Friendly, willing staff. Clean, efficient, large hotel with nice pool and near to town and beach. Our room has good views over the sea and beach. Self service restaurant with good selection of tucker.

Clean hotel with helpful staff. Close access to the beach and lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. Only knock is that the beds are a little to stiff for my liking.

The bar is openning at 11am and the breakfast is from 7 am, there's no options for the coffee... just from an old coffee maker

This beautiful place has beautiful ocean view and the hotel itself. I stayed here on the 6th floor which gave me wonderful view of the ocean. I liked the hotel and service so much.
