Los Locos Faro

Beautiful hidden gem of a restaurant in the old town of Faro. We had a three course menu with ceviche as starter, some fantastic pork and finally a stunning mustard (yes, you read correct) creme brûlée for desert. Lovely service by Ezequiel and fantastic atmosphere in this old shabby chic side street. 5/5, thanks for having us.

Best upscale food we've had in Faro. Kind staff that gave helpful advice on menu choices and wine options. I loved my smoked salad starter and cod main, sitting close to the chef I would come back to try the ceviche and black pork if we were in town long enough for another visit. The mustard creme brulee is worth every accolade the waiters were giving it.

What an amazing place to discover! Amazing food, amazing, chef, amazing waiters.. Everything is special there. The cocktails, the food and the desserts. Thank you for a special evening!

All dishes are created by the chef based on the day's fresh catch/ingredients. The baby shrimps were sweet, and served on delicious black squid ink rice (and don't even like seafood.) Cash only.

Had some absolutely delicious gyoza and octopus. Staff were all friendly but the food was to die for!!! Best Octopus ever!

My wife and I loved this cute little place so much that we ate there 3 times. The chef is amazing! She does it all! She always made sure we were being taken care of even while still cooking the food. We will absolutely be visiting again the next time we're in Faro!

If you are looking for a nice evening with good upscale food, this is the place to go. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, leading to nice conversations. The food was nothing I have ever eaten before. Creative, innovative and delicious. Definitely a good spot one should try out when visiting Faro

A great meal in a great setting. The waitress I had was great fun and we shared some funny moments together. I took her recommendation for the chicken starter and the spider fish main and I was in heaven. A great meal and I loved every bite. The chef came out to say hello and shook my hand. I can’t recommend this place enough. Don’t pass it by.

As massive foodie fans we were blown away by this fabulous little restaurant! It’s a standout place and a must visit if you are in Faro (no generic tourist rubbish here!)

One woman chef band who is a joy to watch work and chat with and exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly staff.
As well as the innovative and beautifully prepared food, the waiter invented cocktails based on our preferences (delicious of course!).

This is one of those restaurants I wish I could have gone back to during our stay. I would happily have eaten the entire menu.

While looking for a restaurant I was catched by the music - Frank Sinatra was playing. Nice interior and good music. The service was kind and mindful. The food was really good. I ordered starter, main and dessert and was really satisfied. Thanks for the good experience! Ps. the recommended wine was pretty good.

My new favourite place in Faro. The place is small but with outside seating area and service is great. The owner is super kind.
I got the feeling that the food was prepared with care and that felt very good.

Great food and a lovely location - lights over the little street, plants as decoration and calm background music at just the right volume. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful, recommend wine and dishes and was very attentive. Food was exceptional, absolutely try the fresh bacalao!

I truly enjoyed dinner with my wife, this is a small but outstanding restaurant. Chef Josefine is superb, the sauces are excellent, the dishes small, tasty, balanced, with depth, color and personality.

I haven’t even finished my dinner and I am already here writing a riveting account of this place, I must! Aside the fact that the location may be the most romantic spot in the whole Faro, the food is the star of the show! From the very start with homemade bread and butter you are in for a win, you will ask for more, trust me; I also hope you are as lucky as me and get the Tuna tartar.. simply wow! The texture, the flavours, the presentation, pure perfection! Now sorry I have to go for my main and simply cannot wait so.. you been warned, this place will put a spell on you! Also well done to the new waiter Caio on his first day and to all the crew, very kind and attentive! I had dinner by myself and felt very well looked after

New restaurant, just opened for awhile so doesn’t have many reviews but don’t worry about it!! They will becoming very popular soon (actaully already) !! We bumped into this great restaurant by chance and we’re so lucky able to get a table. They change their menu every two weeks and Everything taste sooo good, desserts and wine are tasty as well. Cream Brûlée is their special dessert which we’ve had tonight 😋🍮

Probably one of the best restaurants in Faro. We were super surprised by the creativity and qualitity of the food.
