Restaurante Uzonj

The street was so empty but this restaurant was full of guests. A lot of options to choose from, even for the ones who are more into meat than seafood. I had chef’s prawn, which I would like to name chef’s rice, as this is the most properly cooked rice I have ever had in the past decade and more.

We had the grilled sea bass and grilled chicken breast and it was very flavourful and tasty! 10/10 would highly recommend. The service was also friendy :)

Very nice place. The food is good and the portions are big. Especially the tourist menu where you can have three courses for 12 euros. The staff is very kind and friendly. We really enjoyed our dinner.

Amazing food amazing value! We had the 3 course tourist menu for €12 each, I had the garlic bread, lasagna and mango mousse. My partner had vegetable soup, peri peri chicken and chocolate brownie. I ordered chips to go with my lasagne but definitely didn’t need them there was so much food! I had two large glasses of red and partner had 2 pints and it came to around €32! 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing place. Tasty food, fair prices. Just a bit too long to wait for a food, but that is not a big issue as restaurant has a lot of clients and vibe is good inside, especially on the evening near the windows with a breeze. Nice staff. Definitely worth to go here. 32EUR for two.

What was not to love about this place?

From the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome.

The menu was extensive and our waiter was happy to give his recommendations.

For starter we shared the garlic prawns and they were divine. I then had mixed grill with rice, again, this was flawless and my partner had the pork stuffed with brie which she loved.

The whole meal (with two soft drinks) came to €40, which for the amount of food you get is a bargain.

It was worth noting they also do a 3 courses for €12 and that had a lot of mains to chose from as well.

I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area and we will definitely be returning soon.

Went here on our first night and we had the Cheese with honey and walnuts to start which came with a large basket of bread. Then had the fish cataplana to share which was beautifully cooked and was plenty for 2. I had the house wine which was lovely, and my partner had the local beer. It was quite quiet when we went in (quite early for European dining ) but picked up a lot before we left. The waiting staff were absolutely lovely and we felt very welcome. Would go back without hesitation

Went here for our anniversary had a lovely meal. Hubby had peppered steak and I had a Portuguese steak both were lovely. We are booked in for Xmas dinner so looking forward to it. R
They also have a tourist menu 3 course for 12 euros and it has everything you could want we will try this after new year.

Nice restaurant with soft light that relax, very good food and friendly staff!
Price is correct, cheaper than many others.
I recommend it.

Amazing Restaurant with a nice vibe and chill decor!
We had the fish, more precisely The Dorada (golden Bream) and it was perfect, chosen from the regular menu, they also have a Tourist menu with sea bass, pirpiri chicken and much more which is very worthwhile, including a soup ,a main course , a dessert and coffee for 10 Euros but tonight we opted differently….Also Superb service and kind employees! Who speak an excellent English.
Overall a good experience and great value!

Absolutely best food I've tasted in Portugal so far. Three courses for €11,50. The taste of every single course was beautiful. Lovely friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back!

This Restaurant is a must visit!! I’ve been coming to Albufaira for a few years now and usually stay for a month at a time. I must admit from the many restaurants I’ve visited over the years, this has to be the best by far. Where else could you buy 5 star quality food, 3 course varied menu for 12 euros, absolutely unbelievable, and to cap it off the staff a great too.

Lovely place to eat, very clean, lovely polite staff and the food was amazing. We opted for the set 3 course meal at 11.50 euros.

Amazing experience, we booked on the same day for 20 people and they couldn’t have made this lunch any better! Staff were amazingly friendly and attentive even though our Portuguese wasn’t the best they were incredibly understanding and helpful! Food was excellent and a menu with starter, main and dessert was only 14€ thanks again to the front of house team and chefs! :)

Excellent price/quality ratio. We went for the €10 Tourist Menu, and we enjoyed it. The service was perfect.

Had the tourist menu.. soup, piri piri chicken, after much deliberation i had brownie as for tourist menu there were several choices.
The place was clean , busy ( so obviously good ) , the staff were friendly and helpful , great food.

Best value restaurant in Albufiera. Couldn't believe how great the food was on a 3-course menu for only €12!!! Had the best sea bass I've had since Rome, and my wife got the lasagne both nights we were there. Very highly recommend.
