Fabulous traditional Portuguese food served by friendly and helpful staff. They found us a table without a booking on a busy Sunday service. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a wonderful meal.

We had a wonderful evening. Really nice atmosphere, great service and the food is fantastic! Fresh, local and delicious from starter to desert. We’ll definitely come back.

Authentic Algarve cuisine. The cod will change your life forever. Absolutely delicious. Large portion sizes and well priced.

Exceptional local restaurant. We had the dish of the day - Fava beans with grilled pork and the grilled Small fish plate. Both exceptional.

Excellent food and service.
Each dish is enough for one person and we had a variety of different food, all of which was delicious. All staff were very friendly and attentive. A great experience which we highly recommend.

We have been so happy eating here. All the stuff was so lovely and the food was really delicious. We have had the lunch time menu with Sardines and Fish stew. Thank you Carlos for the perfect Service.

Nothing but good things to say about this place and it's staff. Everything is cooked fresh so be prepared to wait and relax.... You won't be disappointed. Plenty to choose from off the menu too....just check out the whiteboard above the fish counter 👍

One of the best meals we’ve had in Portugal and certainly the best value. On Sunday afternoon, you compete with a sizable local crowd which testifies to its quality. Well worth the wait. Sunday stew with monkfish and prawns was amazing.

We love it here. If you turn up at 12 noon, then you’re queuing with the locals waiting to get in for their lunch. At lunch they offer a €10 deal, including convert, a drink, and a food option from their menu, about 4 options. It’s great food for the price, and well cooked. Certainly a recommendation!

This really was an excellent find. The staff were friendly, the food and drink were great and the prices reasonable. A lot of the tables had ‘reserved’ on them (although they weren’t occupied by the time we left) and we went mid-week - so it maybe an idea to book in advance.

The food here is fantastic and the house red wine was lovely.

We didn’t expect much as this restaurant was directly on the main square opposite the place. However it was fantastic. I am a foodist and traveller. Never have I experienced such a good meal nang in the middle of a tourist spot, and so reasonably priced. You can taste the love that the cook has for his workt! Thank you!
