Post office Cerro da Alagoa

First time visiting a post office in Portugal. Needed to post documents to the UK whilst here for a holiday. Just walked in took a ticket from the machine and waited for my number on the screen and went to counter number 4 The lady was very helpful and friendly and spoken perfect English.

The staff is always very friendly and kind. They both speak english and portuguese which is very helpful ! The system of queue is dispatched by services , which makes it efficient and organised.

Vi as críticas aqui citadas quanto ao tempo de espera fui com receio de levar lá horas , levei 10min. Esclareceram-me como devia fazer, enquanto preenchi os dados da encomenda atenderam as seguintes pessoas, entreguei a minha encomenda, sem perder a vez nem passar ninguém á frente, paguei e fui á minha vida. Fácil prático e rápido. Acho que deveria ser igualmente eficiente nos serviços de saúde.

Excelente atendimento

Very slow service, even when there is a long row of customers waiting outside, the employees don’t speed up things at all. Employee was friendly, though. Stamp automat outside of the building is out of order….ah yes and only cash for tourists as they don’t accept bank card from another country. ( first experience of such since our visit )

So standen wir leider vor verschlossener Tür, sehr ärgerlich.

Wäre für die Filialleitung sicherlich eine Kleinigkeit, diese Änderung hier zu kommunizieren, da sich viele ältere Kunden in Coronazeiten eher im Internet nach den Zeiten erkundigen.

Ein weiteres Ärgernis erlebte ich bei einer "Paketzustellung per CTT EXPRESS". Wir erwarteten an zwei aufeinander folgenden Tagen drei Pakete. Adressiert an den Hausnamen , den Straßennahmen, Empfänger und GPS-Daten. Wir warteten beide Tage, ans Haus gebunden, vergebens.

2 Tage später fanden wir die Aviso - Vermerk "Kunde nicht angetroffen" in unserem CTT Postfach, mit dem Hinweis, daß man die Pakete in der Filiale abholen könne.
Das erfüllt nicht nur nicht den bezahlten Leistungsumfang, von SERVICE keine Spur und es wurden Unwahrheiten dokumentiert.

Die zwei ✴✴gibt es dafür, daß ich meine Pakete überhaupt bekommen habe, man wird ja bescheiden . . .

Not so much the shop even though its sevice...is slow . My postman was replaced by a young guy some time ago thought it was just holiday relief for the usual guy. My post was always around 10 or just before. Never had problems with things being delivered, now the postman doesn't deliver before midday always looks confused if he doesn't know where he is posting. , he posted at mine drove off then came back as he had not posted all my post.
I've ordered online and things that should of reached me by now are not to be seen. I live on the Calicos has anyone else had this problem. Some of the items should of reached me weeks ago. Ok not expensive not all have tracking.. would like to know if anyone else have concerns over post.

Bem localizado, mas sempre demora para ser atendido. O sistema já poderá ser alterado para facilitar a vida dos usuários e funcionários.

Entregas com má organização, mandaram me mensagem ontem a dizer que a minha encomenda chegava hoje até às 19h, e não veio nada, sabendo que a encomenda estava no posto desde as 10h45 da manhã, não hesitei em ligar pro CTT Expresso (pois o próprio posto não atende) porque nunca mais me mandaram mensagem a respeito. E a senhora diz-me que a encomenda não chegou a tempo da distribuição???? Avisar os clientes seria mais profissional do que deixar as pessoas à espera de algo que não vai chegar naquele dia.
