Amazing food at this typical portuguese restaurant. I got the black pork filet or "secrets de porco preto" and it was the best pork I've ever tasted. The red sangria was also delicious. Finally, their chocolate mousse was sweet and spectacular.

You need to get the takeaway which is next door to the restaurant !! Hands down the best chicken on the Algarve. I’ve seen a lot of people moan about the size of the chickens, remember they are spatchcock chickens. And also get the rice to takeaway to. I’ve dined inside the restaurant & I admit the plate size wasn’t half as big as the take out for some reason. The black pork take out is also very, very good !! I’ve seen a lot of comments about it being a dump at the back of the supermarket, it’s just a take out guys don’t worry about the surrounding area. And also the takeout is packed with locals, so you know if the locals are queuing around the block for the food you know it’s good. For 2 days I smelt this bbq food smell & was on my bike & yeah it is in a strange place at the back of dolce pingo, on the 3rd day I found chicken heaven !!! I got 2 whole chickens & a large rice to myself. And the price point was unreal for the amount of food you get. The lady who serves is one of the nicest people I’ve met on the Algarve she was lovely & even the chef who turns the chicken over on the hot coals is a very funny guy, I first found this place in 2016 & eaten there more than 30+ times over the years. You do have to wait a little bit, about 15 mins usually but there’s a bench right outside just sit there & enjoy the sun while you wait. Or if you go of an evening when it gets busy with locals just pop into the restaurant & order a beer or whatever. I don’t ever use hotels on the Algarve no more, I use AirBnb’s as one they are much cheaper than hotels & 2 it’s home from home with all the amenities!! So this is why I get so many PiriPiri chickens & rice from O’Jorges. I’ve eaten all over the Algarve & the chicken here as never, ever let me down !! I’ve even drove over 15 miles away when we stopped further on down the coast.

Hidden gem just off the main road. As one of the reviews said "doesn't look much from outside" but once you're in you're treated like family, with great family style cooking.
It's where the locals go to eat. Prices are really good too. Hope you have a lovely night there.

Oh myyyy! This place's peri peri chicken is pit of this world! We had 1/2 a chicken, chips, salad, 1/2 a litre of white wine, 2 beers and 1 dessert. It came to €30. It is great value! The mango mouse is also delicious - a very refreshing way to end a meal. Thank you to our amazing waiter William for his friendly service - a lovely man! We will definitely be back when we are next in town!

We've been in albufeira for 4 days. This is hands down the best food we have had here.

Alot of other restraunts cater to tourists, this is a local place, that serves incredible local food. We had chicken and garlic shrimp, and again the best food we have had here.

If you don't want what you can get at home, and want to eat Portuguese food. This is it.

We go here every winter, and piri piri chicken 🐔 is always good. New chef 👨‍🍳 it was even better. Can't complain. the price is good. Hopefully, it doesn't change as Jorge has retired be sad if it changes

A great find ! Weather wasn't good and we didn't want to walk too far. This restaurant is just opposite the paladim Alagoa hotel. We had black pork fillet which was delicious. Also bachalau and Salmon all food was delicious 😋 so good we returned. William is a great host, chatting to us all the while. Suggesting what to have and also joking with us. We'll worth a visit.

Good, authentic Portuguese food and hospitality. Reasonably priced and great quality food. Would highly recommend, family friendly.

Lovely meal. Such good value. I had the black pork and my partner had the chicken piri piri. Both were fresh and delicious.
Also had a jug of their house wine. A fiver for a litre and very nice.

The place does not look like so much at first glance but my girlfriend and I were convinced by a gentleman waiter that had a small break outside. When we saw the charcoal grill we knew the piri piri chicken would be good and it was delicious. Ask for the bottle with extra piri piri sauce, it made the dish something extra. The service was great and staff friendly. We also shared a typical portuguese dessert that the waiter picked for us to have a long marriage, I will have to come back to tell him if it worked. Dessert was anyhow very tasty 😋.

Fantastic service and extremely tasty chicken Piri piri! Went their last night with my family and could not fault it! They are very good at answering good allergy concerns (I have a nut allergy) with a full understanding of what is used in the kitchen. Highly recommend coming here. Seems to be very popular with locals, which should tell you its a good place to visit.

When I walked in only locals where around, I had a Piri Piri chicken with rice and salad and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy and full of flavour. I also had red sangria and house white wine - perfect. I definitely going to comeback here tomorrow, I am 100% recommending this place for other. Waiter was nice and polite and spoke in English. Cheap and delicious food and drinks! Also, some place’s brings you bread and butter and they will charge you for that, but my waiter asked me if I want and I said no so I won’t be charged for it. Check this place out!

Good price, delicious grills, friendly staff speaks good English. There are a take away point upstairs inside the compound and a restaurant a few meters away. Take away can be ordered by phone

Awesome place, when u walk into the place it looks and feels like a local watering hole , which might be a turn off if you re expecting something very fancy but the food is amazing the staff is very polite and very prompt ,price is very accessible,2 mains courses 2 deserts 2 coffees 2 drinks under 19 euro, everything was very delicious. I felt like this is how the protuges wine and dine ,was quite pleased,trully unmissable.

Garlic prawns and peri peri chicken were amazing. Good service and very good prices. Half chicken with chip's, rice and salad €6. 1 litre of good house wine €4.50. Brill😋😋
