One of the most wonderful places that I stayed . Will take forever the time spend there . Highly recommended.

Wonderful location situated in a Schist village high in the Lousã mountains.
Highly recommended if you're into the art & craft scene or just looking to escape for a while.

Cerdeira Home for Creativity is a place that stays in one's heart. :')
It's not the conventional luxury place, but it's a luxury to be accommodated in this place of tranquility, beautiful and natural surroundings, and very well cherished houses and amenities.

By having apartments with cozy kitchen and bedrooms, and a service of Dinner delivery called "Mesa Posta", one feels definitely spoiled and at home. We tried "Chanfana" and was delicious, even more knowing it was made on the wood oven for 4h!

And besides the fun experience of Ceramics, we were able to see deers right from the balcony of the accommodation, right there in the nature "backyard"... There's so many words to say about this stay, that this review sounds insufficient.

You should definitely stay, for at least 3 nights!

Incredible location, escape heat, great walking area. Try the old goat as a local dish, the local boiled mixed meats really did not sit well. Staff super helpful, and work long hours. Will stay again.

Great place to spend a few days, and even better when combining the holidays with an interesting course on ceramics, greenwoodworking or other topics. Wonderful experience I have just been through, with six wonderful days creating my own chair with green wood, using mostly simple tools and artisanal methods. Excellent course by an excellent teacher, Peter Lanyon, in the midst of a paradise on earth.

Cute village resort where you can stay over night in a typical Portuguese stonehouse. There is a coffee place in the heart of the village with very friendly staff. Lovely place to make a stop and walk by, and easy to find following Maps.

Amazing experience here! Beautiful and unbeatable surroundings, very friendly and professional team caring for the place, everything is made with lots of intention (food, beverages, decor!) and the accommodations are super comfortable, cozy, CLEAN, incredibly charming, so relaxing.. We were very very impressed and will come back again someday!

This place is amazing! Located in a very nice (and small) village built of stones. We stopped here for a drink and we ended up having lunch. I’ve to say, cheese is unbelievable, can’t miss it! Also beer is local.
I totally recommend you to stop here and have lunch!

After a long ride up the mountains a sort of Oasis appears in the forest on the hill. What a paradise. Went there to have a look and took a swim in the "natural pool". Most beautiful village I have been to! Didnt stay over night

This place is amazing! My daughter and 4 other teenage girls attended a woodcarving workshop in this place for 4 days. They worked at least 6 hours everyday, under the guidance of two residing artists, away from their electronic gadgets. They all produced their complete piece of artworks, which made them really proud. In the meanwhile, my friend and I visited the xisto villages nearby and hiked in Serra da Lousã. Among the 5 villages, Cerdeira has an artistic therefore sophisticated touch. It's is also the most compact in layout and best maintained. We are already looking forward to others art workshops scheduled during summer vacation.
By the way, it is not yet covered by MEO service by end of April 2022. But there is Vodafone service, and wifi coverage in the residence and the service area.
