Doce Jardim

The food was delicious. We didn’t expect much from the restaurant in the touristic place during non-high season but to our surprise it was one of the best meals in Algarve so far. The steak was perfectly cooked and so was the octopus. The serving of the octopus dish was spectacular. We set outside but it’s appeared that the place is very nice inside too. Nice and Clean toilet. I give this place 5 stars in my list👌🏻

Went here for an evening meal for 4 people, 2 courses with drinks. We all ordered something different and it was brilliant food. We ordered tuna steak, chicken and pineapple kebab, calzone and BBQ ribs. Staff very friendly and funny. Lovely atmosphere and staff bought out gas heaters and closed plastic screens when the temperature started to fall. Reasonably priced, slightly cheaper than other restaurants in the square -great given the high quality experience and food. Lovely clean restaurant and would return.

It can be so difficult to choose a good place to eat, so many trying to draw you in. We spoke with the Indian man outside during the day and based on him, chose to eat there in the evening.
It did not disappoint. My husband had the lamb cutlets (6) and we the stuffed chicken. Both served with pureed sweet potato and a ratatouille mix for me and courgettes for my husband.
There was a nice atmosphere being in the square. Darts was showing, you could hear the karaoke efforts from a nearby bar.

Another night where i go by my feeling and not listening to little snowflakes stupid reviews. We had beside the carbonara and portugesse steak, garlic prawns and bruschetta for starters. Food was amazing the least, the steak juicy and fresh. For those thinking you get the same taste as an irish / uk beef, remember the beef is not grown the same. Other than that, ive look left right and centre and plates went back empty. The waiters, literally flying around. So before you listeb to stupid reviews, take a minute and look around, you would be missing a lot if just read. And the prices are all listed in front before anyone saying anything. I am happy with that. Signed On Friday 16th september.

Lovely holiday in Albufeira in August this year. Had the best time here at this restaurant and returned a few times to eat. Fantastic waiter and son team. Wonderful food, great entertainment. Thank you Popeye for fond memories.

It was my first time eating paella, and I can tell you that it was one of the best dish I had in my life, it was soooo goooodddd. 🥰

When visiting the old town this is a must, we came yesterday greeted by a fantastic waiter with lots of banter, we stayed for about 3 hours because of him, today we ventured to Vilamoura, although a lovely setting atmosphere was terrible so we are back again at this fantastic restaurant, where again he recognized us and asked for the same drinks and food, that’s a sign of a great waiter, please ensure you visit here, well done to you all

The best cataplana in portugal!! The cataplana for2 is actually a cataplana for 4 persons! I recommend it !!

My visit to Doce Jardim was absolutely incredible. We visited there pretty much every day of our holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and the prices were amazing. We never had proper food there as a meal but we did have ham and cheese toasties which were delicious and chocolate ice cream. The drinks were so refreshing and ice cold. I loved every second of my visit here and will definitely be visiting again very soon on my next trip .
